My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Finished it Saturday, was really good, though I knew who the villain was early on.
I finished listening to Trunk Music by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch #5, and am still wild about Harry! Here's my review.
I'm now listening to The Beast by J.R. Ward, BDB #14.

I finished A Necessary Evil by Alex Kava, Maggie O'Dell #5, and enjoyed the story for the most part. Here's my review.
I'm now reading The Reverse of Perfection by Christi Barth, Bad Decisions #2.

Whoa! That's a tough one as both were 5-star reads for me. I think I'd give Veil the edge, though. But Zarek's is one of my favorite stories in the series.
Flip a coin. You CANNOT lose.

I finished Forbidden by Lauren Smith, Her British Stepbrother #1, and it isn't my cuppa but it's got a 3-book story arc. On the fence about continuing, leaning to finishing. Here's my review.
I'm now reading The Calendar of New Beginnings by Ava Miles, Dare Valley #9.

I fibbed. Squeezed the next book in, Seduction by Lauren Smith and it was a bit better than the first. Here's my review.
Back to my original reading plan.

That's one of my favorites in the series.

OMG...what a time for me to be offline for 5 days. I have not read The Veil, so I have no input (but it looks like I will be soon). I LOVED The Beast...but then I love most of The Dark Hunter books as well. Hopefully you made a decision with Jonetta's help since I am obviously no assistance here lol.

She really writes some crazy, insane abuse into these guys' histories.

She really does!! I think that's why I have to switch to something else for awhile In between, because even though they end happy, it's so tragic to read about what most of them go through. I love them though! All of them so far have been awesome :)
Here's my little problem I have....... The first 3 books of the BDB series are like magic to me. They are my favorites of the series and are in the top ten of my favorites of all time books. So I'm really nervous to read The Beast. I'm afraid it will change my perception of their first story if that makes sense? I want to read it very bad but I'm so afraid lol
No spoilers but I can definitely assure you this story will NOT change your perception of their first story. You're going to love it.

That's good to hear!! :)
