Louise | 26 comments I am currently reading Angels Fall by Nora Roberts . I know this was last months book of the month, but I got a bit behind on my reading. I am on chapter 13 now, and so far, it quite interesting. I like Brody's character although he can be a bit cruel at times.

Britney | 380 comments I need help Jonetta and dawn! I can't decide which one to read next. Veil of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #5) by Lara Adrian of the midnight breed series or Dance with the Devil (Dark-Hunter #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon of the dark hunter series. Which one is better??

Whoa! That's a tough one as both were 5-star reads for me. I think I'd give Veil the edge, though. But Zarek's is one of my favorite stories in the series.

Flip a coin. You CANNOT lose.

message 371: by Britney (new)

Britney | 380 comments I know!! I noticed they were both 5 stars for you, when others have been 4, so I knew I was going to have a tough time. Thanks for your input! :)

message 372: by Britney (new)

Britney | 380 comments I am confused. Which one is zareks story? The veil says it's about Niko, and I kept going on to look and haven't found it yet. Am I missing something? Lol

message 373: by Britney (new)

Britney | 380 comments Nevermind ignore me lol. I was looking in the wrong series, I read your comment and thought you meant zareks story had an edge in the veil. I knew I was going to get these two mixed up at some point! It's been hard at times to separate them lol.

I finished Forbidden by Lauren Smith, Her British Stepbrother #1, and it isn't my cuppa but it's got a 3-book story arc. On the fence about continuing, leaning to finishing. Here's my review.

I'm now reading The Calendar of New Beginnings by Ava Miles, Dare Valley #9.

Britney | 380 comments I figured ;) that one would be hard to beat. Due to the price though I chose Dance with the Devil (Dark-Hunter #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon , and I am really hooked in this one, I haven't wanted to stop since I started!

I fibbed. Squeezed the next book in, Seduction by Lauren Smith and it was a bit better than the first. Here's my review.

Back to my original reading plan.

OMG...what a time for me to be offline for 5 days. I have not read The Veil, so I have no input (but it looks like I will be soon). I LOVED The Beast...but then I love most of The Dark Hunter books as well. Hopefully you made a decision with Jonetta's help since I am obviously no assistance here lol.

message 394: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 199 comments Britney wrote: "Absolutely yes!!!! I feel so heartbroken for him and I'm just now really learning what he went through growing up."

She really writes some crazy, insane abuse into these guys' histories.

message 395: by Britney (new)

Britney | 380 comments Lol dawn! I chose Zareks story in the Dark Hunter series. It's definitely my favorite so far now. I still can't stop thinking about it and it's been a couple days now.

She really does!! I think that's why I have to switch to something else for awhile In between, because even though they end happy, it's so tragic to read about what most of them go through. I love them though! All of them so far have been awesome :)

Here's my little problem I have....... The first 3 books of the BDB series are like magic to me. They are my favorites of the series and are in the top ten of my favorites of all time books. So I'm really nervous to read The Beast. I'm afraid it will change my perception of their first story if that makes sense? I want to read it very bad but I'm so afraid lol

No spoilers but I can definitely assure you this story will NOT change your perception of their first story. You're going to love it.

Dom | 18 comments Just finished the Three sisters trilogy by nora roberts and now starting The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1) by Rick Riordan

message 399: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 199 comments I agree with Jonetta...kind of like the novella she did about Z and fatherhood...it enhanced it for me. If you haven't read Bloodkiss, you really should as well. Great focus on BDB instead of the other characters brought in over the past few books.
