What Are You Reading, Nora and Beyond?
I'm watching the Outlander series, season 1 right now. It is fantastic. I'm going to read Dragonfly in Amber this summer. I like to read the book before I see the series or movie. But Outlander series is very faithful to the book.
Really glad for this thread. I seem to be averaging getting injured every 2 -3 weeks, so need to have ideas to occupy my time. hahaha(Just had the worst weekend that ended with me ripping off a quarter of my toenail)
I'm into another shifter series currently (can't help it. I have kindle unlimited and it showed up as a suggestion after I finished the other shifter series).
City Shifters: The Pride series by Layla Nash.
(Book 1:
)The only thing I really dislike is the length of each book. If it were at least 50 more pages, I'd like to think things would be a lot better.
It's just another easy read; and the individual and overall series story are pretty interesting. The characters can be a little hard to get into, but after a couple of the books, it gets easier because of the progression.

No, I haven't. Thank you for feeding my book addiction! Haha. Going to add that to my "Books to Get" list! :D
The audio version is really well done. I wasn't crazy about the first book but have liked the next two and am currently listening to the fourth.
Hope you enjoy!
Hope you enjoy!
I started Bay of Sighs. I'm reading it poolside and that definitely adds to my enjoyment of the book.

Sheery wrote: "I started Bay of Sighs. I'm reading it poolside and that definitely adds to my enjoyment of the book."Sounds Wonderful! I'm reading poolside too, wading pool side.
I'm taking part in a read-along with Laurell K Hamilton and fans of her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series in preparation for her newest book's release this fall so I'm starting Narcissus in Chains when I get home from work. I also have Serafina and the Black Cloak at home that I need to read this weekend so I can return it to the library.
Lol. I got it on sale, but it took me a little bit to get around to it. I listened the The Outsiders and Anne Frank first.
Jonetta wrote: "Had a feeling you would!"Omg. I am so torn by this "heroine". I like her...a lot...which is a bit concerning, but she is a serial killer so I shouldn't like her. Hooked on the series.
I'm reading
. I liked the first two books in this series. This one is starting off a little slow but I'm hopeful that it'll pick up and I'll end up enjoying it.

Hang in there because it does get better, loaded with tension.

Okay, this sounds fascinating, just added it to my to-read list!
I think you will really enjoy it Cindy. The ebook is free and the audio is $1.99 on Amazon right now

Enjoy! You guys are lucky that all of the books in the series are complete. I was reading them as ARCs and could hardly wait for the next books.
I finished Bay of Sighs by Nora Roberts, The Guardians Trilogy #2, and after a very slow start, enjoyed it. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Spring Cleaning by Liz Strange, David Lloyd Investigations #4.5.

Finished
by Mary Morgan. I really enjoyed it! The historical part wasn't bad and I loved the Romance and suspense. :) I'm definitely reading book two of this series.
I finished Spring Cleaning by Liz Strange, David Lloyd Investigations #4.5, and enjoyed this short cold case. Here's my review.
I also finished Running Wilde by Tonya Burrows, Wilde Security #4, and loved it. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Wildest Dreams by Robyn Carr, the final book in the Thunder Point series.

Got as far as
and realized I missed a lot in not reading the novella. So I am now reading
. I strongly recommend reading the novella if you are planning on reading this series.

The Rescue just started by Nicholar Sparks in paperback"I am a big Nicholas Sparks fan. I hope you enjoy this book.
Jonetta wrote: "If it's any consolation, the novella was written just before the final book was released."Well that makes more sense to me. Amazon had all of the books in a bundle book, so I got it and just finished up the series. Can I just say...OMG! I started thinking along those lines then backed off, so she actually had me until almost the end. I kind of want another book, but it looks like she settled things up.
Jonetta wrote: "I'm going to make your day...she's writing a spinoff series featuring Erin. [spoilers removed]"Did I miss something? Who is Erin? But I am glad I will get more lol
I finished Wildest Dreams by Robyn Carr, Thunder Point #9, and enjoyed it though the heroine was troublesome. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Barely Breathing by Pamela Clare, first book in her new contemporary series, Colorado High Country.

I just finished The Pursuit

I'm reading
. This is the first book I've read by Diana Palmer. It's okay but something about it is hitting me wrong. I'm not sure if it's the writing style or the characters. It's a really easy read though so fortunately I won't be in this one for long.

I'm not a fan. Her "heroes" tend to be jerks that I can't get beyond and the heroines doormats.

I am currently reading
It is very different from what I normally read. But it is nice to break out of the norm sometimes. Has anyone read this book?

I believe I did in high school but it was eclipsed by the movie. It's what I remember, a most remarkable film.

I finished listening to A Fistful of Charms by Kim Harrison, The Hollows #4, and I have mixed feelings. When it was good....you know the rest. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Bird Box by Josh Malerman.

Okay I didn't know they made it into a movie as well. The writing style is a bit hard to follow in the book. It doesn't flow like modern day books. But the story is good so far. Will definitely download the movie.
