I finished listening to Angels Flight by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch #6, and found it hard to put down. Here's my review.

I'm now listening to A Fistful of Charms by Kim Harrison, The Hollows #4.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 1488 comments I'm watching the Outlander series, season 1 right now. It is fantastic. I'm going to read Dragonfly in Amber this summer. I like to read the book before I see the series or movie. But Outlander series is very faithful to the book.

♥ Joy Joy ♥ (joylia) Really glad for this thread. I seem to be averaging getting injured every 2 -3 weeks, so need to have ideas to occupy my time. hahaha

(Just had the worst weekend that ended with me ripping off a quarter of my toenail)

I'm into another shifter series currently (can't help it. I have kindle unlimited and it showed up as a suggestion after I finished the other shifter series).

City Shifters: The Pride series by Layla Nash.
(Book 1: Thrill of the Chase (City Shifters the Pride, #1) by Layla Nash )

The only thing I really dislike is the length of each book. If it were at least 50 more pages, I'd like to think things would be a lot better.

It's just another easy read; and the individual and overall series story are pretty interesting. The characters can be a little hard to get into, but after a couple of the books, it gets easier because of the progression.

The audio version is really well done. I wasn't crazy about the first book but have liked the next two and am currently listening to the fourth.

Hope you enjoy!

Cindy (wanna_read_all_the_books) | 261 comments I'm taking part in a read-along with Laurell K Hamilton and fans of her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series in preparation for her newest book's release this fall so I'm starting Narcissus in Chains when I get home from work. I also have Serafina and the Black Cloak at home that I need to read this weekend so I can return it to the library.

Omg. I am so torn by this "heroine". I like her...a lot...which is a bit concerning, but she is a serial killer so I shouldn't like her. Hooked on the series.

I'm reading Cold Light of Day (Cold Justice, #3) by Toni Anderson . I liked the first two books in this series. This one is starting off a little slow but I'm hopeful that it'll pick up and I'll end up enjoying it.

Dawn | 199 comments Got as far as All Fall Down (Lucy Kendall, #4) by Stacy Green and realized I missed a lot in not reading the novella. So I am now reading Hear No Lies (Lucy Kendall, #0.5) by Stacy Green . I strongly recommend reading the novella if you are planning on reading this series.

If it's any consolation, the novella was written just before the final book was released.

Well that makes more sense to me. Amazon had all of the books in a bundle book, so I got it and just finished up the series. Can I just say...OMG! I started thinking along those lines then backed off, so she actually had me until almost the end. I kind of want another book, but it looks like she settled things up.

I'm reading Wyoming Rugged (Wyoming Men, #5) by Diana Palmer . This is the first book I've read by Diana Palmer. It's okay but something about it is hitting me wrong. I'm not sure if it's the writing style or the characters. It's a really easy read though so fortunately I won't be in this one for long.

I'm not a fan. Her "heroes" tend to be jerks that I can't get beyond and the heroines doormats.

I believe I did in high school but it was eclipsed by the movie. It's what I remember, a most remarkable film.

Okay I didn't know they made it into a movie as well. The writing style is a bit hard to follow in the book. It doesn't flow like modern day books. But the story is good so far. Will definitely download the movie.
