I'm reading A Perfect Evil by Alex Kava, Maggie O'Dell #1.

I have the first seven Maggie O'Dell books on my Kindle. I read A Perfect Evil, didn't care for it and never read any others. Since you like them a little on the edgy side, you should like it.

I've heard it's low on the romance side, which isn't an issue for me either. And, yes, I love edgy:)

The Maggie O'Dell series is a bit like Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli and Isles...and can totally see you liking it :)

I'm currently reading "Exclusive" by Sandra Brown, and as I travel to/from work I'm listening to the audio book "The Fever" by Megan Abbott.

I just finished reading Chasing Fire and I'm going to start Dead Until Dark next. :) Other books I'll be reading this month include Naked In Death , Killing Time and Fatal Affair .

I finished The Last Anniversary today. It was ok but I was kind of disappointed. I've heard such good things about the author so I wanted to like this book. I'll try something else by her in the future but probably not too soon.

Now I'm starting . I'm really excited about this one!

I just finished Dark Before the Rising Sun by Laurie McBain. This is a reissue full of history, romance, suspense and betrayal - great stuff.

I finished listening to Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley, Colorado Mountain #2, and loved it. This was 25 hours of addicted listening...couldn't put it down. 4.5 stars.

I'm now listening to Bay at Midnight by Diane Chamberlain.

Just One Day? At first I was not sure what to think of it, all that Shakespeare stuff, but then ... WOW! I´ll post my review as soon as it will be available in Germany. `Cause it is a new release here, I am not allowed to put my review in here before that day, says the publisher *sniff*

Just finished The Bourbon Kings by JR Ward. Well written with loads of suspense, mystery and romance. Loved it. Can't wait til the sequel is released!

I'm in the middle of Ashes to Ashes by Tami Hoag (sorry, can't figure out how to get pic of book) and really enjoying it.

It opens with three women having been brutally killed and then set on fire. A former FBI agent, Kate, is now a witness advocate for the only witness - but the witness isn't cooperating. The FBI sends in an 'profiler' to help the police. He discovers an old friend/love - Kate.

This is the first in a series of seven. I'm enjoying it - it's well written, a goodly number of characters and lots of twists and turns in the story. I'm listening to it on tape, and the reader is very good.

Hi Mdy, when you open a new comment window here, you see right above it on the right side "add book/author". Click that and a new white window opens where you see at the bottom the word "add" and right beside it the possibility to choose between link or cover. If you click on "cover" whatever book you choose will apear as cover. Hope that´ll helps you a bit.

I'm currently reading the Darkness series by Katie Rues and I am in love with it. It is SO hard for me to find books I like because I am so picky and I am trying to make myself get out of my Nora comfort zone ;) she's the only author I have ever read and mostly all her stuff and I think I got scared no one else would be as good or could even come close! I have had a few authors who have made me very happy but for the most part none compare :/

We're doing a series read in another group and are just getting started.
