30.10 - Sandy's Task: Moving the Fences!
No books with the main page genre childrens or kids may be used for this task. Your two books combined must have a total of at least 500 pages.

I am claiming two BB tickets for this book – 820 pages

Book 2 - Now the home team is up. Read a second book that has fewer pages than book 1 (moving the rope closer in), and that has a lower average rating than book 1 (lowering the rope). To mark 10 years of up to a 5 foot advantage, the second book must have at least 50 fewer pages than book 1 and an average rating at least.50 lower.

Killing Hope by Keith Houghton – 570 pages | 3.68 rating on 9/1/15, but seems to have gone up to 3.69 since I checked it on 9/1/15.

I read the Kindle edition, but linked to the PB version.

I am claiming one BB ticket for this book – 570 pages

Read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. As of last count, this has over 433k 5 star ratings. This book also fits the criteria for a Golden Oldie ticket, having first been published in 1868. Additionally, because it has 'Childrens' as a first page genre, please find the AR bookfinder details below.

According to Native American tradition, each individual is connected with nine different animal guides, or totems, which accompany them through life. Choose a totem from the North American Totems list and read a book that contains the name of that animal in its title or subtitle. Plurals and possessives are OK, but no other variations.

The Silent Miaow: A Manual for Kittens, Strays and Homeless Cats, Paul Gallico, Jane Burton
