Task 30.5 requires that the middle initial of the author of book 2 be the initial of the middle name of the author of Book 1. The middle initial for Mary Jo Putney is J. Therefore, the middle initial of the author of book 2 must also be J. The pairing with Eric M. Scott will not work.
