Fall Challenge 2015: Questions/Problems in Completed Tasks

The danger of posting at 2 am is that I forgot to add the points. Thanks!

Task 25.4 requires that you state in your post that both books are new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.

Please see #12 in the Posting Requirements:
12. It's fine to include more than one newly completed task in a post. If you do include more than one task, the tasks must be listed in numerical order, lowest to highest.
This makes record keeping much easier. Please repost with your tasks in order.
Hint: To copy a post and maintain the links, click edit on the lower right of the posting box and copy the text including the link html code.

Task 25.3, option 1 requires that you include in your post not only the country in which the book is set but also the country in which you live. Please repost this task with the required information.

Task 30.5 requires that the middle initial of the author of book 2 be the initial of the middle name of the author of Book 1. The middle initial for Susan Elia MacNeal is E. Therefore, the middle initial of the author of book 2 must also be E. The pairing with Lori G. Armstrong will not work.

The task description for 15.10 states: Books written by multiple authors may be used only if all authors have written a pep talk. Not all of the authors listed as contributors to Shadow Show: Stories In Celebration of Ray Bradbury have written a pep talk, so this book will not work for this task.

Task 25.3, option 1 requires that you include in your post not only the country in which the book is set but also the country in which you live. Please repost this task with ..."
Sorry, I'll repost. I missed that when I check it.

The IMDB reference for Push is not linked. If you can't get the HTML to work, you can just copy and paste the IMDB URL into your post.

Goodreads Author tickets will no longer be awarded. They have been replaced with:
20.4 GOLDEN OLDIES - Players may earn a ticket for each book FIRST published in or before 1950. A random ticket will be drawn from the ticket pool to determine who creates this task. Challenge finishers are not eligible for the drawing. Players must specifically request a ticket in the post by claiming "Golden Oldie" and stating the original publication year. See the current season's Posting Requirements for more information.

edit - I have no idea why 'any' was in caps.

Revival, Vol. 4: Escape to Wisconsin will not work for task 10.2. The task description specifically states: "Read a book that is identified as #4, #5, #6 or #7 in a series. The series must be identified as a series on Goodreads (series title , #)." Revival, Vol. 4: Escape to Wisconsin is identified on Goodreads as (Revival (single issues) #18-23)

Task 15.7 requires that the total number of pages be found in the first publication date. The paperback version of Closed for Winter you linked to has 321 pages but it was (first published 2011). Since 2011 does not have a 3 in it, this book won't work.

I didn't even notice that- thanks. Will read a different book and re-post. I still have time I think.

Kristina Simon, I think that ColetteG was using the second book to demonstrate the love romance as it is in parenthesis. It seems to me that all three criteria were for the first book, just an unfortunate use of cover interferred. (Just my two cents.)

Yeah, that could be. Thanks, Bea.
It that's the case, ColetteG, you just need to repost to include a link to a post in the task Help Thread or the general Genre Verification thread indicating that the book was pre-approved for the History genre, since it wasn't there last night or tonight. The task description says no variations to the genre, such as Historical Fiction, may be used and it and Historical Mystery are the only ones showing up at the moment.

Task 20.2 is a one-book task. To complete the task, three criteria must be found within a single book."
I will use book for another task.
I mistook Historical for History, my apologies. It did not have fiction or Mystery after it and I just did not pay close enough attention.

A reminder about determining page numbers for audiobooks.
The big book ticket has been recorded. There was a MMP edition.
>If there are multiple editions in a format:
From the editions page (click all editions on the main book page)
Set the Format, beginning with Mass Market Paperback
Set the Sort By as "num ratings"
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks
If there are no editions in MMPB, reset with Paperback and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no paperback editions, reset with Hardcover and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no print editions the ebook or audiobook may not be used for a task requiring a page number

I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas does not appear to have a print edition.

I don't see where Ellen R-S has approved fictional East Anglia locations in the help thread for task 25.7. If you got Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency pre-approved and I missed it, please repost including the post number in which the book was approved.

Taks 50.1, option 1 requires that you include the date of death of the subject of the biography in your post. Please repost this task including the required information.
No need to post the other tasks in this post. They have already been recorded.

We don't have a JACKI on the active list. Your Readerboard name is JACKATTACK, correct? No need to repost if it is but please remember to put your Readerboard name at the top of all your posts, including reposts, to reduce confusion.
If you are NOT Jackattack, please repost so I can correct your totals.

Task 20.4 requires that the book you read be first published between 1915 and April 17, 2015. Within These Walls was first published on April 21st 2015, so it will not work for this task.
