Task 20.4 is a one book task (all the 20-pointers are). For now, I've recorded Picture Perfect for this task. Feel free to use The Distance Between Us for a different task. If you'd prefer to switch them, just repost in the completed task thread explaining that you'd like to swap books and post the task in its entirety with the book you want to use.

I'm pretty sure that's a dog on the cover of Some Enchanted Eclair by Bailey Cates , not a cat. If this is not the edition you read, please repost with a link to the correct edition.

Goodreads Author tickets will no longer be awarded. They have been replaced with:
20.4 GOLDEN OLDIES - Players may earn a ticket for each book FIRST published in or before 1950. A random ticket will be drawn from the ticket pool to determine who creates this task. Challenge finishers are not eligible for the drawing. Players must specifically request a ticket in the post by claiming "Golden Oldie" and stating the original publication year. That's a cat on the right, partially behind the crystal ball. You may need to enlarge the cover to see it. Indeed, it is a dog on left!

Wow! That fell off quick! I didn't get it approved so I'll see if I can use it elsewhere. If humor does come back on the main page and I get it approved can I repost it? Otherwise I'll find a different task to use it on. Sorry!

Task 5.1 requires a book that includes a natural disaster defined as a geological event or force of nature that has catastrophic consequences. From the description, The Johnstown Flood appears to be a completely man-made disaster: "dam had been hastily rebuilt," "Despite repeated warnings of possible danger, nothing was done." The task also requires that you: "Include a brief explanation of the natural disaster involved." So if the description is not an accurate depiction of the disaster, please repost with the required information.

Yes, if it comes back you can definitely repost it. I would suggest that as soon as you see the genre reappear, get it approved in either the task's help thread or in the genre verification thread. You'll get a faster response and it's less likely that the genre will fall off again before someone can answer you. All the book verification takes a lot of time, so that's usually the safest route.

You've claimed task 5.2 as Esaugetuh Emissee, but Esaugetuh Emissee is actually task 5.5. Since Suitcase City by Sterling Watson does not have a sun or a moon that would fit task 5.2 but it does have a body of water that would fit Esaugetuh Emissee, I've recorded the book for task 5.5. No need to repost anything, just check your records to make sure you've marked off the right task.

Rats. No prob though, both Kellermans have plenty of individual novels to their credit. Lemme get a backlist title added & read and I'll sub it in for Golem.

The Preference: A Holly Jennings Thriller appears to be an ebook without a print edition.

If it has not yet been approved for length, you should ask for approval by posting in the ebook page verification thread: eBook verification thread.

When you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you must provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "Approved post #"
