30.10 - Sandy's Task: Moving the Fences! -
Book 1 - The Visitors are up to bat. Read a book of your choice.

The Shining - i read the kindle edition, but the mass market paperback has 659 pages, more than enough for the task's 500-pages-total requirement (also for a Big Book ticket).

Average rating is 4.12.

Book 2 - Now the home team is up. Read a second book that has fewer pages than book 1 (moving the rope closer in), and that has a lower average rating than book 1 (lowering the rope). To mark 10 years of up to a 5 foot advantage, the second book must have at least 50 fewer pages than book 1 and an average rating at least.50 lower.

Death Turns a Trick has 177 pages, and its average rating is 3.46 - 0.66 lower than The Shining.
