Thats funny! lol
But now you have to write book related lyrics for it. :D
So...Maple died yesterday. And I'm sad. I will miss her. She was just lying on the bed. It was so sudden and unexpected.

I just lost my Charlie (see profile picture) suddenly around a month ago. He was my best friend, it is really hard.
Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. She wasn't sick that we know of. Good energy level, eating well. We thought she might have kidney issues last year, but she checked out with the bloodwork fine. Just really unexpected. She'd been with us for fifteen years, since she was eight weeks old.Wish I could have held her and heard her purr one more time.
We lost our S'more, suddenly, two months ago. He was also 15. We think it was a stroke or heart attack caused by a seizure. My husband had gone out for cat food one day but brought S'more home instead, and they had been inseparable ever since (unless S'more got upset with him, at which point he would purposely snuggle up with me to make hubby jealous). We seem to find all of our cats that way. There's an instant bond between a cat and a specific member of our family. My children were all chosen by their respective cat.
Maple seemed to pick us too. We went out to a little place in Aylmer, Quebec and there were five or six kittens and Maple just kept coming back to us while we were there.
I got both of my cats from people whose cats had kittens and they were trying to find them homes. But my cats have both chosen their human subject. My boyfriend is Alfie's human, and I'm Indica's. They have a vet appt on Friday because Alfie randomly peed on the floor 2 feet from his litter box the other day. The box was clean, so I don't think it was that. I'm now worried that he's sick or something. The boy thinks that he just smelled other cats in the back yard and was marking his territory, but I still want to get him a check up. He's overdue anyway.
Charlie had been losing weight for about 6 months, but we thought it was just him getting older. He was only 12, so we thought we had at least 5 more years with him. I had taken him to the vet but they didn't find anything obviously wrong with him so we were just monitoring him and trying different foods. Then one day we woke up and he was laying in the basement, breathing really quickly. Other than that he seemed ok but we dropped him at the vet just in case. They called me about an hour later and said if I wanted to see him again I should get there right away. They suspect he had some sort of cancerous tumor and he had started bleeding internally. I did make it time to see him and pet him and tell him I loved him as they put him down.
We had a little funeral for him.. Buried him in a sunny spot at our family cabin with a can of tuna and a glass of water and cat nip and some toys. He was my baby :(
Goodreads in their wisdom dropped this thread from my updates, so haven't been here in a bit. Sorry.
Pretty sad, but not unexpected: Christopher Lee DiesRIP Saruman. We loved you even though you were with the bad guys.

This is awful news! I knew that he couldn't live forever, but I loved him. At least we'll always have his work.
I always feel older when someone I've watched for years passes. Now we've lost him and Peter Cushing.
This will be the epitome of random:I want to make my own Jack Daniels BBQ like the TGI Friday's one. Hubby loves it.
Here's my options. Let me know which one(s) you think could be closest to the TIG Friday's one:
I'm leaning towards the copycat one.
(view spoiler)

Haven't tried it, but thought of buying it several times! Just got too many other games I haven't played yet
It's not stupid! Its a fenomenally good time-sink... You can (sort of, but not really) learn rocket science from it :)
My life has been sucked away by doing a show (and watching Jer play Shadow of Mordor), but it just ended this weekend, so I might get some time to read again. But there's the business trip coming up tomorrow thru Thurs to freaking Indiana, so I'm hoping to get reading done because gods know there won't be much of anything else to do when we're not "working".

Fun.
O_o
Good luck and safe travels on your business trip, Colleen. Hope you get some good reading in. MrsJ, it's really not so complicated although it's a vast world with lots to do. If you've played, Neverwinter or Diablo the transition is pretty easy since the concept is the same. I've been playing with my boyfriend and his friends. I started out as a casual gamer, but with this game it's gotten more serious. Like, we're forming a guild tonight. O_o
