Yay!! Good for you Jo, I hope you enjoy them...you will more than likely appreciate not having to wait for the second one to come out...good story ;-)

I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you get to it, Sharon!

That sounds promising, Alex - I've put Bereft into my Aussie Author Challenge for one of the categories - historical fiction, I think. Looking forward to it.

Still waiting on my copy of Unforgivable to arrive. It must be taking a bit longer to get up here to Queensland!!

I know, I know - patience is a virtue!! And I can't start it just yet anyway, so I shouldn't be so impatient ;-)

It arrived earlier this afternoon! Thank you so much to Sharon - looking forward to reading it! Maybe in a week or so - I need to finish some library books first ;-)

I'm currently reading The Girl in Steel-Capped Boots by Loretta Hill for the January challenge. Very much enjoying it so far:)

Thanks Joanne :)

Don't worry to much the year has only just started. You have plenty of time to chose your first one. Good luck :)
I'm about 2oo pages into The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton and it's just getting interesting!

Loved, love, loved this!

Now I am curious. What made you read a book like this? I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with it....I've read books like this from time to time.
I just didn't think it would be your type. And there is so many Literary Romance novels that you could choose from.

Loved, love, loved this!"
Yes I can see why so many here loved it Bette. It's a gorgeous book. I'm glad I finally got round to reading it.

Curious to read a romance by a feminist and I hear it is really steamy :P

Finished And the Mountains Echoed last night (after staying up past my bedtime to finish the last chapter!). I loved it - 5 stars from me.

No, definitely nowhere near as good as Slammed and POR. I loved those books but this one just seems a bit pointless to me! Pretty disappointed so far :(

Definitely worth a read, Brenda!

No excuses then, Brenda?!! (Apart from all the other books clamouring for your attention, of course…!)
