I'm having a hard time with Believe in Me... I like it but it's just drawing everything out. I liked how the connection was formed quickly between Wolf and Cymbra. I'm about 67% and I know (view spoiler)[That Kyrsta is pregnant she is sick in the mornings and I know that the queen knows so this is all a game and it just irks me. Her being a changling is very interesting and I can't wait to see how that plays out. (hide spoiler)]

I am really liking Dirty but I am only 40% in. The sex is really really hot. Right now it is 4 stars for me. I am curious to know why she is so cold and distant. I have some ideas as to why.

Finished and uh...whoa. It was crazy entertaining but I took a cue from my buddy read friend and decided to review without awarding a star rating. There were some serious hot button issues going on. It was definitely a trippy concept though and I was glued to the pages. And Roark was smoking hot. The Irish brogue...yum.

I'm reading 2 500+ pg books at the same time and it seems as if I'm moving at a snail's pace!

One of them is from a series I really like that for some reason I've neglected for 3 years: Revelation, a historical mystery set in Tudor England. Frightening stuff though.

I finished "The Duke and I" by Julia Quinn, last night. It was a good read. I enjoyed the main characters. There was not that much drama between them though.

I haven't read many Hart books but Dirty is one of the better ones that I enjoyed. I'd be curious to see how you'd feel/think about Broken.

I loved Broken - my main issue with dirty was that while it was written a while ago it has what now seems to be a common thing in new adult fiction and sobi figured it out really early on - does that make sense?

It makes sense. I think that she addressed the after affect and trauma really well though.

Yes. I had that problem at first. But then the more I thought about it, the behavior was the fear of intimacy and that was caused by the incident not promiscuity. She seemed to be very sexual by nature and at one point she said her love of sex was natural and not stolen by why what happened. So that is how I saw it. :)

I got that...my issue was when it too many too much...I mean (view spoiler)[87 guys in the space of like 9 years - as far as I could figure - but then factor in that she hadn't had sex for nearly 3 years when she met Dan...so 87 guys in 6 years (hide spoiler)]

I guess it wasn't shocking to me because I knew people who were similarly active. And (view spoiler)[ if you figure she liked sex, needed it to stop counting and stop thinking -- but had no serious relationship - that's really only have sex like 1x every three weeks which is not a lot if you think about it from the perspective. A solitary life, someone who needs and wants sex and has it once every three or so weeks. It just adds up after awhile. (hide spoiler)]

Ah. I think b/c she was an accountant and so into numbers. It was thought provoking and like you said earlier, I loved the portrayal of someone who loved sex and drinking -- and wanted a career and was not feeling bad for that.

I did. It was okay. The ghost part was good but I got all sexy expectation about the two of them in a hotel. :)
