Daniel, John said it perfectly: "gathering material for dissertation on mental illness among thriller lovers."I can't help it if you fit my standard for profiling. :)

I can't keep up with all the chatter, I'm off to have some Indian food for lunch, I'm sure it's not as good as the one Dips can master, but hey you gotta take what's available! See you later guys
Kristy wrote: "That's why I'm in this group! Mad people live here. Welcome to the fun house."Thanks. Let me just put on my scary clown outfit.
Malina wrote: "I can't keep up with all the chatter, I'm off to have some Indian food for lunch, I'm sure it's not as good as the one Dips can master, but hey you gotta take what's available! See you later guys"Ok, Malina.
Chaat with you later. See what I did there? I am a riot.
DianeAlice wrote: "No John! Not clowns! Please, they terrify me!"Ah, "coulrophobia", my word of the week. :-)
C.L. wrote: "Got an interesting email today….apparently NSA approves of this group…."Seriously? Oh god we are in trouble now Chris. That's their way of saying "We're watching you". (And makes the Robert De Niro gesture from Meet The Fockers)
John wrote: "Hoover files? You mean she cleans carpets too?"Oh yes, that's when she is bugging your apartment with all the spy cams. (Victoria we are talking about you lest you get lost in the chatter)
DianeAlice wrote: "I can't say that word out loud.."Now that you have THOUGHT it in your mind, you have a place in the Gulag where Victoria and I will be spending till kingdom come. (Minority report is not a thing of the future anymore)
@ Malina - Ha ha ha ha ha ha. THAT was quick.@ Whoever has profiled Daniel, can you please send it to me on private message?
@ Daniel - Don't worry, we will just store it in our Pandora's Box.
Dipanjan wrote:@ Daniel - Don't worry, we will just store it in our Pandora's Box."
That's what SHE said.
BTW folks - does ANY of us have ANY idea what would happen if this group got together in the real world and entered a bar?
Dipanjan wrote: "BTW folks - does ANY of us have ANY idea what would happen if this group got together in the real world and entered a bar?"Now that would make for a very, very interesting evening!
Dips.. would have to be a very big bar...
At least we would have police and FBI on the scene.
They would be arresting Doodlepandle and Te're for chasing you around the bar ... lol

No worries, I hired Anonymous to redirect them!
Daniel wrote: "I would totally be down for pub crawl with you rowdy bunch"Sign me up!
I'll be mostly away from GR for a while, need to make sure the police and FBI aren't after me, you understand :p
I can see I'll have to spend days catching up to all the chatter when I'm back though....
Have fun! ;)
Hi everyone, my name is Hazel and I live in the Lake District in the NW of the UK. I am married with 2 children (well young adults now!). I try and read as much as I can but working full time definitely gets in the way.I have not been a member of Goodreads that long so still finding my way around.
I prefer to read thrillers, crime and horror books but I will try anything if it looks and sounds good.
I am currently reading A Dark and Twisted Tide by Sharon Bolton and am hooked so far.
@ Malina - I love that winebulance. Let's go get one.@ Sean - Hell yes, it has to be a HUGE bar. At least we can be ourselves under FBI and LAPD surveillance.
@ Chris - LOL. Now that's a true insider move. ROTFL.
@ Daniel - I will be your wing man brah!!!
@ Doodleepoo - Where you going now? Stop hiding ... come out and play.

I keep a journal and write almost every day, and I'm thinking of starting a blog as well! And yes, I teach English! I work for an early childhood education center and teach music, art, and English to kids from one year old to ten years old. It's quite the learning experience for me as well :)
Christine wrote: "Ter'e, where are you????"I think she is shifting home. She hasn't responded to my email also. :(
Hi Hazel,
welcome to the fun house, we love thrillers, and Sharon Bolton is a friend and member here.
Have a look at her Q & A page on the author threads

Hi! Cathleen here, I lived in Gardner, Massachusetts with my husband and my dog Widget. I was born and raised in Auburn, Maine. The first book I read, by myself, was Pippi Longstocking. Such an imaginative story and it woke up something in my mind. I have been reading since. I have read so many books over the years and I am still an avid reader. I also love to try new recipes, crafts, walking, and travel. A few of my favorite authors: James Patterson, Steven King, Jonathan Kellermen, Russell Blake, Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlum, Mary Higgins Clark, Sandra Brown, Bette Lee Crosby, and Dean Koontz. I look forward to participating in this group. Thanks for the invite.

I am sure you will get some great suggestions here and we are hoping you will have some for us as well--I see you have read over 1600 books! I am so jealous!!! (-: LOL!
Minnesota Chris
I haven't listed all the books I've read. For one thing, I don't remember them all, have had clearouts over the years! I don't have the time either, and there's an element of 'can't be bothereditis!! It's a shame really, I'd quite like to know how many and what I've read over the years. The rain is bucketing down. Grrrr!
