Hello there!I'm a new member to the group, and I am excited to get in on the action! I love the idea of your group. Sharing the reading experience with other avid readers is what I enjoy the most.
As for a little background about me, I currently reside in San Antonio, Texas, and have prior experience in script coverage and screenwriting. I recently released my first novel, a psychological thriller and coming-of-age story that follows twin sisters whose lives diverge after one is kidnapped. I've been working on it for the past two and a half years, and I've looked to a great number of storytellers over the years for inspiration. I read a great number of books, but I haven't been the best at keeping up with my Goodreads. As an author, I see the importance of reader interaction, and I want to do my part in giving back to this important community. However, I want it to be known that I am here purely for pleasure. I'm just another book lover looking to be a larger part of this vibrant group.

Hi everyone! Welcome to the asylum where the inmates have most definitely taken over! I trust all had a great Mother's Day w/ their families.I'm not sure what's up w/ the weather around here! One moment it's showing signs that spring may have actually arrived (yesterday it actually rained & DIDNT turn into snow) & then today, I had to turn the furnace back on again! Grrr. This weather is messing me up! :0

Acolhimento, Adriana. I cheated and looked in a dictionary. The only Portuguese word I know is "putz." I learned that word through a game we played when my niece was home from Sao Paulo in November. She is just returning to Minnesota from a 3-year stint with the Maryknoll lay missionaries, and she is hoping to find a job as a translator so she can save some money for grad school. Anyway, welcome to our group!
