@ Ter'e - Liqour ain't sin .... liquor is nectar ..... it makes ya immortal ... it makes ya noble ..... liqour is not a sin but holy ..... Question - Did you have ONE of those flavours or ALL the flavours. (And don't even think for a moment I have NO idea about the portion size of those in US)
@Dips - behave yourself! We don't want to scare the nice new people off!
Luckily I'm not really here so the madness might not reach extreme levels :)
Dips! You are a riot! Your mind is completely random! & I have to agree, liquor is never a sin. It's the over indulgence! My liquor of choice is vodka. What is yours? & pls don't say Maker's Mark again!Hi Doodle! What's new in your world? And if you're not really here... Where would you be?
@ Doodleepoo - You're not REALLY here? Ahh you have evolved into YODA now. Feel, we shall. Behave, we must. Is that that language you are speaking in your "out of body" experience?@ Terri - Well, it depends on my mood and the company. I am perfectly at home drinking stout with fat Irish folks, or vodka with the aggressive ones, bourbon with the good 'ole southern folks and tequila with just about anyone who i think I have a chance with. No pink or fruity drinks ... (Refer to Official Manhood Rules).
Well I am here, but just a little.I'm away for a few days, so keeping an eye on you guys on the GR app.
Keeping busy away from the Internet, but my GR addiction makes it so I have to check a couple of times a day! Lol!
Plus I don't want to miss the fun...
@ DoodleePoo - Ahhh ... enjoying the great outdoors ..... we are behaving ... I promise .... and I just realized that I have not spoken about a single book on GR for some time .... I have to get my reviews done real quick.

How about a nice gin martini?
@ Malina - Dip Dip Dip .... that's the best way. (Last time I used this exact words, I had got dunked in the pool. Not cool)
@Daniel - You're welcome! :p@Dipsipipsy - Who said anything about outdoors! Haven't stepped a foot outside all day! :D
@Daniel - I'll try not to... special circumstances ;)Won't happen very often though, so I'll be back to interrupting your work soon!
I went on a 5 mile bike ride today, many hills, thought I would die! So far I'm enjoying my unemployment!
Daniel wrote: "@Doodle: promises promises. :p@Malina: good for you! Sounds like the right decision."
The bike ride or being jobless?? :D
@ Doodleepoo - THAT is the great outdoors, my child.@ Daniel - ROFL.
@ Malina - The hills are alive .... with the Sound Of Music ....

Oh Dips, it was not music coming out of my mouth, more like agonizing gasps as I tried to pedal uphill, felt like a sweaty hog :O
@Daniel - I only take my special trips once every 2-3 months, do I'll be interrupting your work often enough... :)
Welcome everybody! Yes we may be a little Zany but you won't find a better group if people around! Dips, DoodlePanda, Ter'e, and everybody keep me in stitches and make my day every day!
Welcome, everybody! Jean, sometimes dictionaries deceive us, lol! I believe the word you were looking for was "bem-vinda" (female) or "bem-vindo" (male). That's right, if Portuguese weren't hard enough... (I probably made a mistake in the last sentence, lol) I hope your niece find a good job!
@ Malina - Heave Ho ... Heave Ho .... Heave Ho ..... Land AHOY!!!@ DoodleePoo - So you are in the "indoors" of the "outdoors"? What? You going through a portal or something?
@ Daniel - Whenever you put Special within quotes, it just sounds sinister.
@ Lavada - Waltzes around Lavada and does the Zorro thingy ... in the Puss In Boots avatar.
@ Doodleepoo & Daniel - Ok try this .... add "if you know what I mean" to anything that you say .... do it in conversations in a public gathering and see the effect.@ Daniel - Tip from your wingman .... get the hint? Try it.
Hi, everyone. This is the first book group I've joined--ever. Unfortunately I don't spend much time reading; instead I write--mostly medical thrillers. Some of you may have already read Dying to Remember, Overdose, and Lethal Cure. If you have, I would be grateful for any ratings and especially reviews, and if you haven't, I would be grateful if you checked them out. Feel free to ask any questions. I'm not sure how these groups work, but I'm happy to reply to any questions or comments. For those of you might be interested in my background, I grew up in Ohio, went to MIT as an undergraduate (I was a math major but took nine writing courses), then returned to Ohio for medical school, and I've been in Columbus or a nearby suburb ever since. My original specialty was OB/GYN, but then I added clinical pharmacology (drug research, mostly with healthy volunteers), and that provided the background for Overdose, a medical thriller in a clinical research setting.
Let me know if I can provide any additional information. Thanks.
Welcome Glen! Of all the groups you picked the craziest one (in a good way)! I'm also a physician but unfortunately writing is not my thing, I'd rather read, will check out your books, good luck!

I enjoy DM Mitchell, Joe Hill, Harlan Coben, Dean Koontz and so many more. Hard to choose one
I loved the plot of Take One With You but was disappointed in the ending. Just finished Help for the Haunted by John Searles and it kept me on my toes.
