John Dolan and 1 other person liked Rin Hoshigumo's status update
Rin Hoshigumo
Rin Hoshigumo is 57% done with Two Rivers, One Stream: I think the older Polzin is impatient. And given his (family’s) reputation, more time would be needed to distance himself from Katie’s death. At least as long as her marriage to his son. Personally, I’d make it at least a day longer than the period from which they were engaged to his son’s death. And honestly, it might be more appropriate to wait till she has a child, then off it to make things even.

“As someone once said, SINCERITY is the single most important human characteristic. So once you can fake THAT, you're made.”
John Dolan, Everyone Burns

“I would be a fully-paid-up member of the 'I Hate Paperwork Club' if I could summon the enthusiasm to fill in the application form.”
John Dolan, Everyone Burns

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it; or because it is in your traditions; or because many speak about it; or because it is found in your religious books; or because your teachers and elders believe it; or because you have become attached to it from habit.”

“I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain. One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself, forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.”
Albert Camus

“Karma means ‘action’. Like many, you misunderstand its nature. Past misdeeds can be corrected before your karma ripens: it is not some pre-determined fate. It is what you do now that counts.”

You are extremely welcome - especially so as you are from my part of the world. I'm a Houghton-le-Spring boy originally. Well, we all have our crosses to bear :-)
