Tower Team D: Dangerously Determined to Devour All Books
Time To Start Reading!
Hi Team! Don't forget our DIAL M FOR . . . MINI CHALLENGE starts tomorrow. Any book that is finished between Wed Feb 6th and Sunday Feb 10th at midnight will count towards this challenge.
Remember - post your books that have a word that starts with M in the title, author's name or series name. We need to see those covers!! And if it also counts toward the February Romance Challenge, please mention that. You will get an extra point!!
I have finished 2 books in February though only one count as romance
I thought I had found 2 books for this short challenge of Dial M for... but it seems I actually have 4.
(Mageri Series: Book 2)
(Maria V. Snyder)How many of these I will manage to read I am not sure as I have just started a new job and I am quite tired by the end of the day, but I am hoping for at least 2.
Happy reading everybody
Loving the challenge. So many potential books. I'm going to start with
as I've got to read it v for another Ichallenge. think it qualifies in terms of page numbers. I've the Kindle version.
I finished
- doesn't count towards romance but was really good. Most of the males in this book needs a good whack IMO. Cliffhanger at the end so was glad I already had
lined up to start!!
That one went on my TBR, Melissa! I just finished
I gave it 4 stars. I really liked it. Zombies with humanity and typical Rachel Caine rollercoaster ride! And 25 users shelved it as Romance!I'm about to start
which is also a Romance.@Jane - I have Wait for Me on my kindle. Interested to hear what you think.
Great looking books everyone! Let's push past 600!
I just finished
, really good book! If you're into YA you should read it :) It is also shelved in romance, since it's a romance book it's obviously there haha :)
Leslie wrote: "It looks good, Anna. I'll definitely recommend it to my daughters as well."I promise you that she will love it! But tell her to read
first, since it's the first book in the series :)
I am just not on the right time frame...I finished Cinder yesterday, which counts for romance, but it won't count for the M mini-challenge. It was good, but a little too predictable, but I will read the sequel one of these days.
I started
today, which is a romance and for the M mini-challenge. It's really good so far. I always get hooked on gothic romance!I see some of you are Rachel Caine fans. I'd like to try one of her books. I saw them all the time when I worked at the bookstore, but I never got a chance to actually read any of them. I know she has a couple different series. Any suggestions which one I should try first?
Tricia ~ The only Rachel Caine I have read so far is
it was funny and I enjoyed it. Little bit paranormal, mystery and romance all rolled into one. I have a couple of the weather warden books but haven't tried them yet. I'm going to try them, hopefully, sometime soon...
I have read all of the Weather Warden series and loved it! It is a crazy ride!! It's a long series, so some are better than others, but always fun! Highly recommend. I have not read the Morganville Vampire series, but I've heard good things. And I'm putting the Victoria Holt on my TBR!
@Melissa - I think you meant Katie MacAllister LOL!
I'm loving Shadow of Night at the moment. It's finally picked up the pace.
Good morning Team D!! Hope everyone is doing well. Let's see some book covers today!!Just finished my first M book
I'm starting my second book
This is a re-read for me and I love this book! Both of these books qualify for Romance!I'm still reading Shadow of Night and I also started
but I've been reading that at Barnes and Noble on my nook for free.
@Melissa - I think you meant Katie MacAllister LOL!Hahaha yep - wow don't know where my head was at,lol
Started last night
by Jill Myles for the "M" challenge - I need it for Creature Feature challenge
Just finished my second book for today -
. This fits under the month long challenge and has been classified as "romance" by 569 users.
Just finished
today. It is classified as romance by 488 users and the author's last name starts with M.
Rebecca wrote: "Just finished my second book for today -

I am done with
and
.Including the Prequel: Legend that makes three Romance novels this month.
Started reading:
(I kinda feel like the only person who hasn't read it yet)
Leslie wrote: "Love Nora Roberts! That looks really good, Rebecca!..."Leslie - I enjoyed it so much I just finished downloading the rest of the trilogy onto my ipod hoping I can finish them in the next week or so. I thought it was a good PNR!
Rebecca wrote: "Just finished my second book for today -

Diane ~Firefly~ wrote: "Just finished

I think I have everyone's M books so far!! My TBR is groaning!! And Anna, I have never read Ender's Game, either.
~Melissa~ wrote: "Diane ~Firefly~ wrote: "Just finished

I really liked it except towards the end there was a really stupid conflict that they both ended up over-reacting to. Otherwise it was really good and had a great epilogue.

I'll have to see if I can get it. Have you read Kristen Ashley - is it sort of like her series??
~Melissa~ wrote: "I'll have to see if I can get it. Have you read Kristen Ashley - is it sort of like her series?? "I've read a few of her Mystery Man series and mostly liked them. The hero isn't as alpha as Ashley's are, but it does have the same sense of fun, except when they are being stupid.
Anna wrote: "Started reading: [bookcover:Ender's Game..."I really like Ender's Game, but not the sequels. If you like it, I also like Ender's Shadow, from Bean's POV
I just reread them a few years ago and I still really liked them, but I don't know if I loved them as much as when I was younger.
I just finished Wallbanger. It was pretty good. It definitely got better as it went along. This also marks my first romance book for the Feb. challenge!!! :)
I finished Stained Glass Monsters yesterday for the mini-challenge. I'll be starting The Other Side of Us for the mini next.
I finished both
~non M and non romance but still good!
my first "M" book and 66 have classified it as a Romance.
So far for the Romance challenge, I've finished
Killbox - Ann Aguirre &
Wicked Lovely - Melissa Marr (also counts for the M challenge)I really do love the Sirantha Jax series. I really recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of romance in their sci-fi.
Wicked Lovely was just meh. I doubt I'll read anymore of this series unless I need something Fae for a challenge.
About to start
.
Welcome to Team D Jamie!@Alley ~ Thud. MY TBR just got longer - I added Sirantha Jax - will have to try the first one - looks interesting
Of course last night I had to start
