Georgina (georginathelibrarian) Finished my first one today for 2009, I read Small Island by Andrea Levy, a great book (though it took me a while to get into it as it bounces between characters and the year the events are taking place each chapter) which is largely race related during the second world war. Very good if you like a bit of history in your fiction.
