7:38pm ET. Chillin' after an exhausting day of working with one of the doctors after some loser called-out. Then one of the other doctors talked to me like I was 11 and needed alone time or something... she almost got told off, but she is always a witch, so I don't expect much from her. Anyway, came home a ate 3 cookies to cuddle myself... :D

It's 8:51 PM, and I'm watching wrestling. Well, not really. I just woke up from a nap and it happened to be on. I used to love to watch it back in the days, but I can't get into it anymore.

8:20 PM. Eating turkey bacon, onion, and cheese omelet and sliced white potatoes for dinner. Then, I am going to do the dishes, and read. :)

That's good. I see we're both coming our reading slump, slowly but surely. I'm actually going to read a few pages tonight. Happy reading!

12:53 a.m. EST Just up from a nap and ready to start editing on my 3rd novella of the week! Just need to clear out some of the e-mail first.

12:32AM justabout time to crawl into bed, may be reading a bit more before sleep though. Everyone have a good night!

5:21am and I woke with lots of energy today. Enjoying my coffee, just fed the puppy. Not much on the agenda today except for reading. I have 10 books at the library hub is picking up on his way home from work. Lots of good stuff, can't wait! Enjoy your day everyone!
Janie, your husband's schedule sounds like it sucks!
Kathryn, I miss hearing about all the delicious things you're cooking!

It is 12:46 and I am at school ignoring my teacher. Books are so much more interesting than computers!

7:54 a.m. EST Woke up about 7, have a doctor's appointment a bit after 9, so clearing out my e-mail in the meantime. Then a novella to edit. Wheeee!

9:10 AM. Kind of in a bad mood. I hate being in a bad mood. It's raining and it took me over 25 minutes to go five miles. Usually it takes me 10 to 15 minutes to get to work. Anyways, I'll stop complaining and try to slap a smile on my face. :) Hope everyone has a great day! :)

11:32 A.M. EST Back from the doctor, Tiger cat happily drooping across my shoulder again, hubby snoring away. Clearing out my e-mail and then it'll be editing time!

10:53AM Had a storm overnight. Kay said she heard it. LOL I did nit hear a thing. Then while she was getting ready for school this AM we lost power for about 10 min. So it must have been something LOL. Hope everyone has a god day today. I will struggle through some more short stories. Looking forward to our Kin read in a few days.

1:56 p.m. EST Took a break to pick up the mail and found a box of books in the mailbox! My cousin bought me the Tears of Artamon series by Sarah Ash! So awesome :-) Otherwise just editing away!

11.15pm waiting on the boyfriend to come online (he said BY 11.15pm latest :@ ) and reading Anna Karenina on my Kobo

7:30 p.m. EST Holy carp, this HAS to be a record. I edited 4 novellas in two days. *gasp pant gasp pant* Okay, now I'll clear out my e-mail and READ!!! Whooo!

8:10pm. Got in after 7pm from work..long day. Hubby served me dinner, daughters cleaned up the kitchen, and I have a little time to read until 9pm

AMEN! LOL. It only took 16 years. LOL. For the hubby that is.
The girls are pretty good about cleaning. By nature, they don't like too much mess.
8:37pm ET. *Thinks about reprogramming grown-ass kids*..maybe my daughter will finally move back out and stay in school this time... mmmm
Kathryn, my mother-in-law sent us truffles and some milk chocolate things that are shaped like Pringles. I'd share if you were here!12:32 a.m. EST Today is the day I can start on the ABNA reviewing, IIRC. Tonight, rather. Meanwhile, I'm reading my The Book of Cthulhu II anthology now that I'm awake again. I popped in to make sure I had the info down about the short story I just finished (I'm just going to write them down after this rather than pop in to make notes on the review after every short) on the right short story. And noticed that one of my FB friends went to town today and sent in lots of pictures and stuff. Since it's a big deal for her to go to town, sort of how it was for me when I was growing up 30 miles from town, I don't mind, but I have to clear all of that out now! So, off I go!
6:45am. Got up at 2am due to pain, meds finally kicking in. At least I had some reading time in the middle of the night. Just had an English muffin for breakfast, still enjoying my coffee. Also just requested a romance from the library. I HATE romances, but I need to try to read one for a challenge. Should be interesting...Now spending some time catching up on GR, then it's back to my books.

9:10 AM. At work listening to some music and needing to get busy. Thought I would check in on GR first. Have a great day! :) Katy-:)
It's 11:03 a.m. and I'm very excited because my husband and I are going car shopping today. I can't wait to get a new car!!!!!!! :-D

Sorry to hear about the pain waking you, Terri. I always hate when that happens. Why torture yourself with romance? Umm, oh, I know, read one of Ariel Tachna's urban fantasy/romances, they're pretty good for romance! Dan, I hope you aren't feeling too poorly, but at least you can read!1:29 p.m. EST Just woke up about 1/2 hour ago, clearing out e-mail. Having trouble with FB, can't like or comment on statuses, can't post my own status. I can poke, and I can send in statuses from outside FB, but I can't actually interact with anyone, which is really annoying. I just updated my javascript, I'll see if that helps.

1:43PM Gonna try and finish N&D today, everyone wish me luck cause I need it with this book. Lookingforward to reading KIN in couple of days and then gonna try and slip in The Wolves of the Calla before my Feb 25th buddy read of 11/22/63. My plate has been very full with books. LOL So now I am checking in here on my GR friends. Hope everyone has a great day!

4:14 p.m. EST This Cthulhu anthology is pretty good, but slow reading. Just clearing out e-mail now that all the updating is done, then I'll go read for reals...

9:32 PM, and I'm watching American Idol. Even though I'm so tired, I hope to finally finish Gone Girl.

9:23 PM. Alondra I know what you mean....I am making myself leave early on Friday. I feel like I deserve it. Haha! Just think: Two more days until the weekend! :)

Sorry you're stressed by work, Cassie. Hope you feel better.12:41 a.m. EST had a nice nap, read a bit, now I'm clearing out e-mail and then I'll go back to reading. One of the books I edited in January is now available in its new edition: Longclaws. If you're interested.

Thanks, Katy. I'm torturing myself just because I need a romance for 2 different challenges. I'll give it a try but I don't know if I'll make it all the way through. Thanks for the suggestion, I might check out Ariel Tachna.
It's 1:35am and I'm up again tonight. Having trouble settling on a book to read. I've tried about 4 different ones and nothing is clicking. Trying to read Wolf Hall which is supposed to be so good but I'm bored and struggling with it. I'm trying a bunch of different genres and titles for different challenges--I suppose the idea is to broaden my perspective but I just don't know. Why struggle through a book that just doesn't speak to you? (I'm talking myself out of it.)
Guess I'll go make some coffee...

it's 5:05 am and i probably should be asleep lolTerri- i normally don't read romance either but one of my all time favorite books is Like Water for Chocolate- it's part star crossed romance, part soap opera with magical realism and lots of food- it's also not a long book in case you end up not liking it ;)
hope you feel better soon

Here are a couple I REALLY enjoyed:
Intensity, Shantaram

6:58AM Had a good night of sleep only it did not last long enough. Checking GR and gonna finish this N&D book today.
Terri I don't like Romance either. Now I can read books with a little romance mixed in. Hope you can settle on something to read.
