I know! Finally! :)

12:32AM justabout time to crawl into bed, may be reading a bit more before sleep though. Everyone have a good night!
5:21am and I woke with lots of energy today. Enjoying my coffee, just fed the puppy. Not much on the agenda today except for reading. I have 10 books at the library hub is picking up on his way home from work. Lots of good stuff, can't wait! Enjoy your day everyone!
Janie, your husband's schedule sounds like it sucks!
Kathryn, I miss hearing about all the delicious things you're cooking!

It is 12:46 and I am at school ignoring my teacher. Books are so much more interesting than computers!

10:53AM Had a storm overnight. Kay said she heard it. LOL I did nit hear a thing. Then while she was getting ready for school this AM we lost power for about 10 min. So it must have been something LOL. Hope everyone has a god day today. I will struggle through some more short stories. Looking forward to our Kin read in a few days.

nothing like a little training.. hehhehe :D

nothing like a little training...."
AMEN! LOL. It only took 16 years. LOL. For the hubby that is.
The girls are pretty good about cleaning. By nature, they don't like too much mess.

..maybe my daughter will finally move back out and stay in school this time... mmmm

12:32 a.m. EST Today is the day I can start on the ABNA reviewing, IIRC. Tonight, rather. Meanwhile, I'm reading my The Book of Cthulhu II anthology now that I'm awake again. I popped in to make sure I had the info down about the short story I just finished (I'm just going to write them down after this rather than pop in to make notes on the review after every short) on the right short story. And noticed that one of my FB friends went to town today and sent in lots of pictures and stuff. Since it's a big deal for her to go to town, sort of how it was for me when I was growing up 30 miles from town, I don't mind, but I have to clear all of that out now! So, off I go!
6:45am. Got up at 2am due to pain, meds finally kicking in. At least I had some reading time in the middle of the night. Just had an English muffin for breakfast, still enjoying my coffee. Also just requested a romance from the library. I HATE romances, but I need to try to read one for a challenge. Should be interesting...Now spending some time catching up on GR, then it's back to my books.

Katy-:)

1:29 p.m. EST Just woke up about 1/2 hour ago, clearing out e-mail. Having trouble with FB, can't like or comment on statuses, can't post my own status. I can poke, and I can send in statuses from outside FB, but I can't actually interact with anyone, which is really annoying. I just updated my javascript, I'll see if that helps.
1:43PM Gonna try and finish N&D today, everyone wish me luck cause I need it with this book. Lookingforward to reading KIN in couple of days and then gonna try and slip in The Wolves of the Calla before my Feb 25th buddy read of 11/22/63. My plate has been very full with books. LOL So now I am checking in here on my GR friends. Hope everyone has a great day!

12:41 a.m. EST had a nice nap, read a bit, now I'm clearing out e-mail and then I'll go back to reading. One of the books I edited in January is now available in its new edition: Longclaws. If you're interested.

Thanks, Katy. I'm torturing myself just because I need a romance for 2 different challenges. I'll give it a try but I don't know if I'll make it all the way through. Thanks for the suggestion, I might check out Ariel Tachna.
It's 1:35am and I'm up again tonight. Having trouble settling on a book to read. I've tried about 4 different ones and nothing is clicking. Trying to read Wolf Hall which is supposed to be so good but I'm bored and struggling with it. I'm trying a bunch of different genres and titles for different challenges--I suppose the idea is to broaden my perspective but I just don't know. Why struggle through a book that just doesn't speak to you? (I'm talking myself out of it.)
Guess I'll go make some coffee...

Terri- i normally don't read romance either but one of my all time favorite books is Like Water for Chocolate- it's part star crossed romance, part soap opera with magical realism and lots of food- it's also not a long book in case you end up not liking it ;)
hope you feel better soon

I've actually been going through this lately. It makes me want to go back a re-rate my books.
Here are a couple I REALLY enjoyed:
Intensity, Shantaram
6:58AM Had a good night of sleep only it did not last long enough. Checking GR and gonna finish this N&D book today.
Terri I don't like Romance either. Now I can read books with a little romance mixed in. Hope you can settle on something to read.
