Got ice cold Budweiser Gold Crown waiting for me at home, and I have tomorrow off. Can't wait to get off of work.
6:51 PM and I am bored out of my mind. Not a single repair in the last three hours and my mind will not focus on much. I need a day off in the worst way.
8:52 p.m. EST just suddenly realized I'm supposed to have two reviews up on Friday and I don't even have one of the books and I need to read the other NOW 'cause I'm going to be working into the weekend and and and *hyperventilates* *breathes into a bag for a moment*Okay, so, I've been setting up a lot of the upcoming blog posts I need, but one of them is supposed to include a giveaway, so need more info before I can do that, and when I realized I didn't have one of the books I was supposed to read, I contacted the person and asked if we could skip the review until later. Tomorrow will be more pre-scheduling blog posts, so I can focus on the editing and ABNA reviewing I have coming up. Geez, why do I do this to myself??? *sigh*
It's 7:17am on a beautiful Saturday morning, watching the sun rise. The puppy slept in till 6am so I'm in good shape today. Savoring my coffee and planning the day. Will get some new stuff from the library today. (YAY!) Other than that, I'm reading a bunch today. I'm doing a buddy read and I had to slow down on it so I don't get too far ahead. So I read something else and now I'm having trouble getting back into the original book. Oh well...Make it a great day everyone!

8:33 .am. EST Trying to type with a cat hanging off my arm. anyway, went to bed around 1 a.m. but the cats kept me up most of the night again, chasing them off my dresser and clothes. so spoiled. Cleared out e-mail, now time to read. Hoping to take some sun later today, as it's supposed to be the last of the nice, sunny, and fairly warm days for almost a week.

10:42AM Good Morning GR. We are back to cloudy, chilly weather. YAY UGH! Gonna try and read a bit more of N&D. I feel like I just wanna be done with it. And then will also try and finish The Mind Readers It started fantastic, then kind of tapered off a bit losing some of the excitement. But it is interesting enough to keep my attention till I am finished.
Katy dont forget to take a bit of time for yourself! Breathe in, Breathe out....Daniel son...hehe

12:44am ET. Sun is out and the garden calls. will have to hit that later after attempting a few pages of A Tale of Two Cities...

1:52pm EST. Everything is covered in snow, what a storm we had last night! LOL. I'm sitting here debating on wheather or not I should venture out to get a haircut. I think I will because I need one badly.

Dan wrote: "7:19pm EST. Just sitting here drinking some Coronas, playing on GR, and reading 11/22/63. The snows really coming down!Tip-if your going to spend so much time on GR..keep your book beside you and..."
So true! Seeing the book beside you can be a little reminder.
3:49 pm, and I'm just browsing GR. I'm slowly coming out of my reading slump. (I read quite a bit of Slammed yesterday--pretty good book, so far!) Am I the only one who wishes we had a few more games on GR? I wish I had ideas for some, at least.
5:52 p.m. EST Just finished one of the two books for which I owe reviews this upcoming week, and about to start on the other. Setting up the blog posts I have scheduled, or a few of them. I might wait to set up the rest tomorrow night and Monday morning before I start my editing marathon; not sure I trust Blogger not to lose everything. But we'll see! Was a lovely day today, so I sat outside for awhile again. Supposed to be rainy, cloudy and cool for at least the next 5 days, so it was my last chance. ON the other hand, if the weather is not conducive to sunning, I won't be distracted from my work that needs doing.

4:12pm Spent the afternoon shopping (yuck) and then someone (me) said they would make pizza for dinner. I really don't feel like making it now but I do want to eat it so I guess I need to go and do that.

She is studying art - Illustration. She's in her second year and doing very well. She's very artsy and focused
7:41pm. Watching Kill Bill 2 and waiting for Chinese food delivery. But was outside shoveling and playing in the snow after our "Nemo" blizzard.

8:37pm EST. Drinking beers and watching The Walking Dead marathon. Can't wait for the new episode tommorow night!!!!

I know you're very proud. What a blessing.
Kill Bill, 1 AND 2, is awesome fun! Love it.10:54 p.m. EST just finished the 2nd of the two books for which I owe reviews next Friday, and they're mostly all set up. I need to hear on Monday for the details on the giveaway before I can set up the guest post, but once I do I should have most of my guest posts and stuff for my blog set up for the next couple weeks, which will definitely take the heat off for awhile. Now I'm going to read a book for fun before the Hell Week of Editing begins! (just added a 4th novella...) I think I'll crack open some anthologies to read when I have a few minutes during the editing so I have something open and being worked on in the interim. But this week will be really quiet on my blog, so I need to come up with something to amuse folks, and then Friday ... BAM! Two guests posts, two reviews, AND a giveaway, all on one day. It'll be a busy one.
So, some e-mail to clear out, and then a Nina Post book to finish out my weekend. Probably a nap fairly soon, too... I'm sleepy but it's a bad time to try to go to sleep right now.
11:51pm EST. The Walking Dead marathon continues late into the night. However, I think I may turn it off so I can get some damned reading done. About to go eat a bowl of chili that I just heated up. Then it's on to the reading.

7:43 EST. Just put my bread dough out to rise, now checking GR and enjoying my coffee. Making salad with roasted red peppers, pine nuts, and baked chicken for dinner so the crusty bread will go great with that (and some red wine). Plan to do a lot of reading today. I'm working on 3 books (2 fiction and 1 short stories) that are really great. Actually got some good sleep last night, so I'm in great shape for this day! Hope you all are too!

11:37 a.m. EST just promoting my latest giveaway, for Trials of Life. If anyone here is interested, come on over to my blog (just click the link). I also have this giveaway live, but it ends at midnight, so anyone interested in Apex Predators should hurry to sign up for that one. Otherwise, clearing out my e-mail, then will finish reading my book.

It's 10:55 AM and I am sadly back at work. Had a great day yesterday with my wife and son, went shopping and just hug out. It is storming pretty good here and I would much rather be sitting out on my covered balcony listening to the rain, drinking a beer (well, maybe not this early) and reading a book while my son plays. That would be the day I would like to have. Anyway, I'll be around today so please feel free to help me pass the time.

11:30AM A little slow this AM. LOL What else is new! Have had grandbaby for a few days so I dont getmuch time for reading or anything else for that matter. I am checking in on GR friends right now, catching up with posts. Gonna try and knock out a few more of the shorts in N&D. :/

Chris, it's never too early for a beer! Breakfast of Champions! ;-)12:32 p.m. EST just finished clearing out my e-mail and ready to settle in and read. It's a bit hazy out, and chilly, and there's some sort of weather advisory that I'm about to check out. The temperature just dropped a degree in the last 1/2 hour, so I'm wondering what's going on... Anyway, will talk to y'all later!

LOL! I always thought the breakfast of champions was a Pepsi/Coke and a candy bar. That is at least what I used to eat in college.
11:33 AM On my way to the grocery store. When I get home I have a lot to do around the house. Then I am going to read. Missing my GR friends.......

12:35 p.m. EST Okay, it's a flash-flood watch for tonight. Apparently heavy rains are expected. Ah, well, at least it's not a fire watch. Every time the humidity drops around here they issue a fire watch. Okay, off to read!!

1:19pm EST. Watching The Walking Dead marathon again. LOL. This time they are showing the beginning episodes of season 3. The new episodes of season 3 start tonight at 9:00pm....I can't wait!!!

1:10PM Just ate myself a salad! YUM. Gonna play a playstation game with the kiddos here in a few. Kay had a friend stay last night. Finished up a short story in N&D. Everyone havea great day!
(Awww miss you too Kathryn.)

  (Awww miss you too Kathryn.)
Nah, Kathryn just posted 3 minutes before Alondra did; I think Alondra just means that Kathryn isn't around as much now that she's working.2:31 p.m. EST really enjoying this book I'm reading, Danger in Cat World. It's the latest by Nina Post, who is such a fun author. I've read everything so far and enjoyed it all!
Haha no, I just haven't been online much lately since I started working. It has been a bit of an adjustment for me. But, it is getting better. :) Hopefully when I finish cleaning my house, I will be able to get online tonight. Miss you too, Janie!!!!!

7:48PM sitting here munching on some popcorn trying to get my laptop feeling better ugh. Gonna read some more N&D. (taking forever)

10:23pm EST. Just got done watching the new episode of The Walking Dead. It was good but I don't like the fact that they are having Rick go crazy. Well, about to take a shower and go read a book.

11:30 p.m. EST Sitting here blearily trying to make my eyes focus. I am so tired but my cats would NOT let me sleep this evening, so I guess I'll have to lock them out AGAIN when I want to try to sleep some more. I hate doing that, I have no idea why they're suddenly being so obnoxious. Usually they'll mostly find a good spot and sleep, but lately Tiger is running around like a crazy cat and Erasmus and Fluff are trying to climb on my dresser or sleep on my clothes... I am a very light sleeper, so when I hear suspicious rustling, or a cat suddenly jumps up onto the bed, either one wakes me up almost immediately.Anyway, speaking of cats, I want to clear out my e-mail and then finish Danger on Cat World. I'll be pretty quiet the next couple weeks, but will try to pop in at least once or twice a day.

8:29AM Drinking my coffee and soon to start my laundry once grandblessing wakes up. I say be QUIET and let him sleep lol. So now checking in on all y'all and see what's up. Gonna try and finish this next short story in my book. So hard to read when baby is here. But it is worth havingthe time with him. Have a great day everyone!

2:14 p.m. EST Just finished setting up the last of this week's upcoming blog posts and clearing out the e-mail. Now it's time to start editing! Wheee! (and I'm all out of coke... I told hubby to bring home coke last night, but did he remember?? Noooooo)

I think they are setting up for him to be ousted as the leader by the end of this season to make a cliffhanger. Still, great episode, just a few things I wasn't pleased with plot wise.
1:22 PM and I am working the closing shift. Might get some reading done if we are slow. My audio book is getting interesting as it get to the end, and I am getting into the Shining more. I think my reading funk might just be over.
7:23 p.m. EST Damn, when I focus I can really blaze through things. Finished two novellas today! Waiting on the 3rd for the week, which will arrive tonight and I'll work on it tomorrow. I'm so relieved, because I did NOT want to lose my weekend! Anyway, clearing out e-mail and taking a nap!

Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~ wrote: "3:54 PM Blizzard here in South Boston!!"Is this the same storm we were slammed with NY? Long Island, NY, Upstate,NY and Ct was hit hard. Long Island by Riverhead and Montauk, and CT received almost 30 inches of snow. In Queens, we got a few inches. But most of is gone because it warmed up and its raining as we speak.
