Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and prayers. I went in to see Mom today, it was difficult to see her in the state she's in, but I know she's where she needs to be. The Doctors are going to take her off oxygen tomorrow and start Comfort Care and give her morphine drip for the pain, and just let nature run it's course. Thanks again everyone for your support.

It's 1.45 PM and I just returned from my daily walk. The weather is not very nice though. Now: back to work!

I'm sad to say that my Mom passed away this morning, but she went peacefully and she's no longer in pain, which I'm relieved, still sad though, I feel like I've lost my best friend, but I know she's now watching over me.

5:49 PM Hey everyone, haven't checked in for awhile, but just wanted to see how everyone's doing. As you all know, the past couple months were very tough, but I have some good news, I have a roommate now, and even better, it's someone I know! We went to School together all the way back to Kindergarten! And it's a big adjustment for him too because he was still living with his Mom and Dad, and they're all like my second family. But he's been living with me a couple weeks, and still settling in, but I have a good feeling.

9:19 AM Been enjoying my time with family who came from Indiana for vacation. My vacation ended Tuesday, but they are here till Sunday. I have been reading with my 16 year old niece and she added a new spark into my reading, which is awesome! Have to head to work in a couple of hours, so I think we will start buddy reading another book, the Unseen. Have a good day everyone!

Very sorry for your loss Janelle 😥. I know what it's like losing a pet, I had a cat put down a few years ago, he was sick with diabetes, it finally got to the point where he wasn't eating or using his litter box, I miss him every day, he was a good cat. Our pets are family.

I remember Corey. Yes and sometimes our pets are all we have. It's so sad. My cat was fine and lively then she got sick on Thursday and it went down hill fast. The Vet said it was congestive heart failure.
