11:00AM....Just sitting at work and trying to stay warm. It is -6°F with a windchill of -13°F. It has been so cold since Christmas. UGH. Reading Misery in my down time.

5:20 PM It's Friday afternoon, and I'm starting to get a sore throat. Bummer. Was bound to happen after a few nights of not enough sleep. I'm going to be reading The Golden Compass this weekend.

10:42 PM EST. We had a massive snowstorm here yesterday. Boy, do I miss the days when I was a little kid and snow was fun...LOL. Well, hopefully it warms up a little next week.

9:20 AM working on cleaning the house today since I have today off and I’m feeling pretty bad. I had my blood pressure and blood sugar drop last night and nearly had to go to the hospital.

I’ve never been diagnosed with it but I’m wondering if I haven’t became a diabetic. I am epileptic though so who knows.

Hello Heather. My name is Drew and I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I have to take 2 different kinds of insulin and there are times when my blood sugar can drop to 70 or be as high as in the 500's. I did end up going to the hospital a few times but I am better now. It is always awesome to meet people who have Diabetes as well. I hope we can become friends here on Goodreads.

10:00PM Sitting here winding down from a long day. Have been training a girl at work who shall I say 'is just not getting it.' Lord give me patience! About ready to crawl into bed just to wake up to another day much like today. On the positive side, I finished Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli and really enjoyed it! Moving on to The Knife of Never Letting Go. Should be good and I have been dying to get to this series!

10:25 and I’m in bed resting! Ended up at urgent care yesterday with belly issues that had gotten worse since Wednesday. Ended up being told I had a UTI and then had a STAT CT of my abdomen and found out that I have diverticulitis! On two antibiotics and have an appointment tomorrow to see where to start to get this under control and how to manage it!

Ouch, so sorry Cassie! My Mom had a UTI this past year, not pleasant. Hope you feel better soon.
