I think we will be fine. Just hoping it doesnt get bad. The subways and highways can get flooded. But the area I live in is one of the highest points in Queens, NY. The lower areas can be a problem where most of mass transit is at.

9:55pm ET. Came in from working in the gardens and I am SORE!! I should have taken Advil before I started. Regardless, it was time to get everything cut back before the frost. Waiting on my daughter to get home with cookies!!! Yes! 8)

she is; and it won't. I think we are getting mostly rain and cloudy skies. my garden will appreciate that; but I pray for no wind. last time a hurricane hit; the winds blew down a 100' tree from the neighbors yard into mine and destroyed the gardens and fencing. we had to pay, not the neighbors. so, no more wind!!

It's about 6:30am, coffee is brewing and I'm trying to wake up. Chilly morning, great fall weather expected. Just took a pain pill for wrist (recent fracture) and leg/hip (relatively recent fracture). Ready to read.
