The book I chose is about another island not too far from Vinalhaven, Matinicus Island. That island is interesting to me, since the ferry boat that goes out there leaves from the same place as the boat to Vinalhaven. But, where there's 6 boats daily to Vinalhaven there's only 1 per month usually to Matinicus. I wanted to know more about how people adapt and adjust to living out there.

One of the last family vacations I took with my parents and siblings - we went to Mexico and the resort had tennis courts. The tennis courts had shade. I'm not a tanner, or a beach person. Although I love to swim, I'm allergic to salt water and chlorine. So I spent much of the week trying to learn tennis.
