Books to Motivate Young Men to Read
I am compiling a list of books that will motivate Young Men from ages 12-18 to read more. These can be fiction or non-fiction. I would like to see sci-fi thrillers, mystery, sports, biographies, adventure, self help, motivational, etc. Any and all input is appreciated. Please recommend books that are PG-13 or better. Please no R-rated books (i.e. graphic sex, frequent profanity, nudity, or graphic violence) These can be old books or new books.

I admit I haven't read a lot of these books that have been put on this list and most of them are excellent suggestions, but there is one that I doubt will interest teenage boys. That is "We Wove a Web in Childhood- The Brontes at Home" by Ruth Thomas. Ruth, help me understand why this book would motivate a young man to read more.

I personally think that this list is not about 'Books to Motivate Young Men to Read', as a lot of the books are too difficult to 'motivate' any young men to read. I had a 'young man' in high school who had a very hard time reading the compulsory literature, so I should know...
