I even had to google the obituary of the man with ALS she mentions in the acknowledgements at the end - amazing. You should read or listen to Still Alice (read by the author and awesome). One of my favorite books ever. Inside the O'Briens was good too - they all are. :)

I totally agree with you that it works for the mini-challenge as Ove is pretty anti-social.

True - this was during South Africa's apartheid and white and black people could not mix/marry/be together or risk being thrown in jail and your children taken.
