I think i'll go with Black Ambrosia as it's also a buddy read in the Horror Aficionados group for March and i've been wanting to read it. Has vampires.

I am with Latasha, I prefer vampire stuff.

February always sucks reading wise for me and this year seems like it's not going to be any different. While I am enjoying Moon Called i've only read 5 chapters. Hopefully in the next day or 2 i'll get my butt in reading gear!

Thank you Sarah. My husband went to get a new collar for another cat of ours and heard from a couple people that worked there (he ended up looking at the cats of course. He loves animals as much as I do and is usually the reason we get another one) that the vet we were going to has an awful reputation. I wish we'd know about that sooner.

I'm still hoping to read some today but someone stole our freaking generator. Can I please get a break?! *head-desk*

Interesting. I had heard about that novel but didn't know it had giant snakes in it.

Well I ended up starting my booktube channel again so i'm still only one chapter in but hoping to read more tomorrow!

I just started reading it today too. I'm finding it hard to read (in general not the book) because of my mental state right now. My kitten passed away yesterday. I don't feel like doing anything but I know not doing anything isn't going to help either so i'm doing the best I can. I've only read one chapter so far, just finished the first chapter actually. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Thank you everyone. It just feels like a never-ending punch to the gut today. Not only did my kitten die shortly after midnight, because it's my birthday all day i'm going to be hearing happy birthday, have a great day! and I get it obviously but of course that ship sailed and on top of it the people telling me to have a great day are dead-naming me because I changed my name last year because i'm trans so it's becoming the longest day of my life and the worst and it's barely 8am and I need some sleep today.

I'm sorry for being such a downer right now but I can't stop crying.

Shadow's short life was nothing but struggling. At least he isn't struggling anymore. I wish there had been more we could have done for him.

Ty Melanie. It's hard to focus on anything at the moment but i'm trying. Trying to take my mind off it as much as possible. His life was so short, just months, but we know he knew he was loved. He was so cuddly and would purr. We thought he was doing better but then it took a drastic down turn so quickly.

Our kitten Shadow, who has been struggling with anemia and we've been doing everything we could that we know of, just passed away. It's going to be an annoying day because it's also my birthday and i'm going to get so many "happy birthday! Hope it's a great day!" but it's the day our kitten passed away. We were going to try to rush him to an animal ER but he didn't make it.

Glad you're liking it so far Melanie :) After I read The Surprise Party it's next on my list to read.
