I have just started it!

Voices in the Snow by Darcy Coates has won January's group read for New Releases! This is the thread to discuss Voices in the Snow by Darcy Coates.
Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book

Hi and welcome Jeannie. I don't know of any stories with a Centaur protagonist. They are definitely underrated.

Don't worry about it Sarah, we understand. I was only trying to help before not realizing that box doesn't exist on the mobile version. Goodreads needs to update it but probably never will. Like Melanie said it can be interesting to see what rabbit hole you end up in :)
Sarah wrote: "I have a question. In what category do I post a book with this kind of creature?
It is a costume (like a bear or rabbit) that comes alive on it's own but it also contains robotic parts that fold u..."Interesting. When all other categories seem to fail, i'd put it in the "other" category:

Sarah wrote: "I think this one belongs in the Killer Nature category...
The Girl in Red by Christina Henry.
I had no idea this was a creature book but there is indeed a nasty wicked thing in ..."I definitely want to read that one. I've read
Alice by Christina and loved it. I haven't read the sequel
Red Queen yet though. Or anything else by Christina. How are you liking The Girl in Red?

Glad you enjoyed it Mindy! It was definitely a lot. I loved the character development as well and also hated Weezer with every fiber of my being.

"I'm sorry but this doesn't even release until January 28th..even getting it on release day only leaves 4 days in the month
Abbigayle wrote: "Can I nominate my own book? It just came out three months ago (August) and has elves/fairies/goblins."I don't see why not. Go ahead.

I'll nominate
The Deep by Rivers Solomon. It has mer-people and just came out this month.

January is for New Releases (in the last 2-3 months)!
Nominate some New Releases to read in January!
After this thread has been up for a bit and has some nominations a poll will be held with the nominations to decide January's group read!

I'm sorry Sarah I was only trying to help. I hope I didn't come across badly, I just thought maybe I could be of help. I know I tried to use the app a long time ago but it didn't last long because it was so frustrating and limited. Even on my tablet i'd use the browser so I could use the desktop version.
They really should update/fix the app but I doubt they will.

Sorry about all that trouble. I don't know why I said it'd add the cover, it doesn't but does add a link. What I meant is circled

Of course I don't know if that is there on the mobile app as I only use the desktop version. The app is a pain when I tried to use it before.

I got it! :D

Ugh usually I can figure it out but I can't now for some reason, here's a link to the picture, what I mean is circled

Sorry give me a minute pictures always give me trouble

Ooh I don't know how it works on the mobile app. But that's what I was talking about. Sorry if it's not there on the mobile app.

I'm on the desktop version as well and have no idea what you are talking about. Hold on and i'll see if I can get a picture of what I mean.

It says book or author, it is on book by default but you can also click on author and the box below you type in the title of the book (or name of the author) and click the word search below the box and a list of books will pop up, and to the right of them is the word "add" and you can click that for the book you want and it'll add a link to the comment box.
