I have read 7 chapters. I hate Weezer. (view spoiler)[I hope Weezer dies. I feel bad for Mike. He couldn't see, it mentions in chapter 2 his eye condition. So it affected the baseball playing and the car accident where the teen was killed. Those things weren't his fault. He was disabled and didn't realize it. And now he's dead. (hide spoiler)]

Oh my bad with the previous post! It links to the wrong book but I just saw the author is a different author and checked out the right book. Here https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... is that the book you meant? Looking at it I see stuff about aliens and monsters.
