Hey. Ya mod/friend here saying I changed my name. I was Steph but i'm going by Tyler now. Changed it because i'm nonbinary and wanted a name to reflect that more. Same me. Just a different name. :)

I'll close this sometime tomorrow and then put the poll up, so if anyone has any other nominations get them in! :)

Maybe I should have read it instead of listened to it. I was bored and didn't get much from it. Maybe I'll try it again at a later time. Sorry. I think it was more me not being into it right now and not the story's fault.

Wishing you luck that it's over soon

May I suggest Guilty Pleasures because early Anita Blake is the best gift I can gi..."Ooh I have guilty pleasures! But I haven't read it yet. I second this!

Glad you liked it too! Sorry you've been working over time though.

November's theme is Shifters!
Nominate some Shifter books to read in November!
After this thread has been up for a bit and has some nominations a poll will be held with the nominations to decide November's group read!

What did you think of it over-all?

Oh I hadn't thought of that. I think the Sheriff probably did know...and yea it might be what happened to his mom. Creepy. I had actually thought that might happen but even predicting it didn't make it less creepy to me.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding then. :)
I take back what I said. I loved that ending. Of course the ending isn't the entire story, so i'm going with 3.5. I enjoyed it over-all.

Oh I thought you were DNFing it because of the animal sacrifice and mentioning just getting a sample of it. I am actually liking it, just not 5 star loving it. And it feels weird that I like it at all considering. I'm thinking along the lines of 3-4 stars at the moment so not bad. I'm at 84% now.
I said i'm sorry because I thought you were dnfing it.

I'm sorry Latasha. I'm at 73% so far so I will finish it. Not sure what i'll give it exactly yet but not 5 stars, that's for sure.

i'm a little over half way done. A little tired of hearing about Rhonda's cleavage. I am enjoying it just not loving it. Will see how the second half goes.

I've now read the first 2 chapters and am really tired, currently on a "sleep during the day" schedule. So tonight or tomorrow i'll read more. I haven't read much yet, but i'm interested to see where it goes.

I just started it and was enjoying it but then that view of disability at the end of the first chapter just turned me off. Of course I might be really sensitive to it right now, but I don't think we need more views of disability in that light right now.
Otherwise though i'm interested in the Halloween creature and wondering about the yearly ritual thing and it has my interest.

I read it last year in
"Ghost Stories of an Antiquary". I gave it 3.5 stars. I don't remember it now I just remember the entire collection kinda confusing me but I did enjoy it.
Hope others enjoy it too :)

That was nice and creepy! Getting into that Halloween spirit ^_^
