Welcome Elke! I've only read one Hunter Shea book so far, They Rise, but I loved it and have a couple more books by him to read!

Well that was completely unexpected 0.0. I am looking forward to the sequel set to come out in April!

And I stupidly went to check out the goodreads page and saw a review that spoiled me. No idea where this spoiler pops in so maybe wait until finished to read it... (view spoiler)[something about people turning into part insect zombies? That certainly wasn't on my mind. (hide spoiler)]

I just read chapter 24 (view spoiler)[and gently threw my tablet on my chair when I read the words World War III because I had seen not long before reading it that World War III is trending on twitter right now because of some strike on Iran and some influential general is dead and this is how 2020 is starting, with WWIII looking like a very real possibility. Granted I don't think that is what's happening in the story but that was so weird, and not in a good way because of what's actually happening in real life. (hide spoiler)]

It has definitely picked up the pace though! I wasn't bored for the first half though despite the slow pace but now it's O.O. Can't. Read. Fast. Enough.

I have read 18 chapters so far and I am very intrigued.

Yeah. I do plan on picking up book #2 and seeing where it goes. After 50% I just couldn't put it down.

I have started it and have read 8 chapters so far. I'm liking it so far.

I've had this on my want to read list for years. I'll get it in a couple weeks and look forward to reading it in February :)
