801397 Hope you enjoy it Elke.
801397 Glad you found an interesting book Sarah☺
801397 Thank you. I doubt my next read will be better actually. The only reason I want to check it out is because it's set in the same county I live in, the city I was born (though never lived, it's just the same county) but doesn't look promising to me. But I got it from Libby and no harm in trying it. It's still early in the month though so im sure I'll have some winners coming up this month. I enjoy almost all my reads as it is.☺

My next read will be Unsheltered
801397 Recently, today actually, a couple things that were stressing me out have been dealt with. I should be in the perfect mood to read now. I just wasn't gelling with it at all. No book is for everyone. And it just wasn't for me.

I'm glad you loved it and so many others have too. I hope it goes better for everyone else.

True but honestly at this point I think me and westerns don't get along. They always bore me so much. I just don't like westerns apparently. I've already returned it.
801397 This really isnt for me, especially right now. Most people love it though so im the odd one out. Im just so bored and uninterested in it and I can't do it right now. I hope everyone who picks it up enjoys it. Sorry i didnt. I dnf'd at 17%.
801397 Sorry Melanie☹
801397 Thank you for the heads up as well Lena. I haven't read him either.
801397 The Drowning Girl by Caitlín R. Kiernan has won May's group read! This is the thread to discuss The Drowning Girl by Caitlín R. Kiernan in May.

Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book.
801397 I'll be starting it in the next couple days. I already borrowed it from Hoopla.

801397 I finished Black Ambrosia and I really enjoyed it. Gave it 4.5 stars.

801397 I'm enjoying black Ambrosia so far, having read 15 chapters, but I don't think it's a creature novel at all. Id heard its a vampire novel and i get why but i dont think thats the case. Im enjoying it though. I read hell hound which has a dog pov in it, not what i was thinking of but i guess a dog is a creature and after this I need to read Frankenstein so there's that.

Which cover? The Drown one?

801397 I nominate Drown by Esther Dalseno and The Mermaid's Revenge by Amy Cross

801397 May's theme is Merfolk!

Nominate some merfolk books to read in May!

After this thread has been up for a bit and has some nominations a poll will be held with the nominations to decide May's group read.

Nominations with +1's are more likely to make it to the final poll if there are a lot of nominations.
