801397 Sends hugs to Melanie. Light and fluffy sounds good.

I'm barely 100 pages in I Am Legend and...kinda bored. Not hating it or anything, just, bored. I've been in extra pain (as I already deal with chronic pain) lately though so i'm not sure if that's affecting it. I did start The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson as well, borrowed it from Libby, which i'm enjoying.

I think I Am Legend is a book i'll have to take slowly and read with something else. I don't know. So I might end up reading I Am Legend and Dead Witch Walking at the same time. No idea yet.

Mmm. Light fluff sounds good.
801397 I'm planning on reading I Am Legend by Richard Matheson next and then Dead Witch Walking! So i'll get to it, just don't know exactly how many days I Am Legend will take me. :)
801397 I think i'm going to read I Am Legend next, as I own it already (and it's on my 40 books to read before I turn 40 list). It'll be my first Richard Matheson book. So i'll see if I like I Am Legend and maybe that'll help me decide if I want to pick up Hell House for October.
801397 It'll probably be a bit before I get to it as well. I'm currently reading Annabelle by Ruby Jean Jensen.

Summer isn't even technically over yet and I already miss the warmth, lol. Even though it can be too much as well. I know Spring is starting where you live Melanie, Fall is starting here and I already dread the cold. I like Halloween, I just don't like the weather lol.
801397 I haven't read it before. Not sure if i'll get to it or not, but I did see it's currently on scribd (I don't own it at the moment). It is on my want to read shelf so, I might get to it. October is just so jam packed all the time lol.
801397 Hell House by Richard Matheson has won October's group read! This is the thread to discuss Hell House in October. Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book.
801397 October's theme is favorite Halloween read!

Nominate some of your favorite Halloween reads to read in October!

After this thread has been up for a bit and has some nominations a poll will be held with the nominations to decide October's group read.

Books with seconds, thirds etc. are more likely to make it to the poll.

801397 I just finished The Pine Barrens' Devil and I enjoyed all 4 stories. :) My favorite was the 3rd one.

801397 I'm currently working on a couple Hoopla and one Libby book that just came in, but once i'm finished with those i'll get to The Pines Barrens Devil, and the R.L. Stine buddy read "I saw you that night".

801397 I've borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited :)

801397 I might consider that too. It's on kindle unlimited which I have and I live close to the Pine Barrens!

I shall be here too :)

Excited to finally start this series the correct way! Lol. Where as a 16 year old in 2005 I saw the second book, not knowing it was the second in a series, read it and was sooo confused and lost only to see, years later on Goodreads, the book, recognize it and see it was the second in a series XD
801397 Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison has won September's group read! This is the thread to discuss Dead Witch Walking in September. Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book.

801397 I'm sorry, that sucks. :(

801397 I always check the availability of the books, and i'm sorry but I can't find "We Will All Go Down Together" anywhere in any format...amazon, thriftbooks, B&N...is it available somewhere?

If not, no worries. I'll also +1 The Witching House"

I don't see why not. I think any genre works. :)
