Yup, it's the book of the month! I just finished today, but there is still plenty of month left!

That the ship was basically controlling the tommyknockers I think. All of it. And I loved it. I also loved that the little boy managed to be ok in the end! Sarah (view spoiler)[ Everyone born with IA (imperforate anus) like I was (as a part of vacterl association) has issues always being dehydrated. No matter what we do. I probably eat too much salt. I also have bladder issues (neurogenic bladder) so that might play a part as well. And reflux...i'm a bucket of medical issues.

It's not an apartment. The house is just a mess. The electricity with the breakers, the AC/Heater never worked (or it doesn't when it's too hot/cold, when you really need it - we've been here over 8 years and gave up trying to get them to fix it - they just look at it and shrug, so we ended up with space heaters/ac's but not enough for the whole house), and the venting stuff...it's just a huge mess of a house. Our previous houses/apartments were never this dusty.

I can't eat corn. I used to be able to. But then I got a colostomy. Now I can't. It's been nearly 9 years. Most vegetables have the same problem. Just too much for my stomach that doesn't want to work at all to handle.

I think IT is even larger, that's over 1,000 pages! And I did read that one. Once. I loved it, need to reread it at some point. Though I still need to read The Stand which is also over 1,000 pages. The man can write a lot of words! lol :)

Even though i'm not finished The Tommyknockers yet I am enjoying it :)

Book 3 chapter 9 starts TW: Fire I can't believe I made it through all that and i'm not even done yet.

I've started Book 3 chapter 10 and based on the confused page numbers of Scribd (it says the amount of pages left is quite a bit higher than it should be for the number of pages it says it's on and that the book has total...) i'm assuming it's the last (very long) chapter. I'm getting there! Not tonight. Maybe tomorrow (depending on what happens tomorrow).

I'm in the middle of Book 3 chapter 6. I used the isbn to find the correct version on here but the cover is wrong.

My cover is

(assuming that works...) It's mostly green with the shadow of a person in the woods and a light in the distance. I think it fits the story well enough. I don't really have any feelings toward it one way or the other.

I haven't read a ton of King's books but i've read a few. Pet Semetery, Carrie, IT. I have (but haven't read yet) The Stand, The Mist, The Shining...so i'll read more by him. I don't even own The Tommyknockers, i'm reading it on Scribd.

(view spoiler)[ No, I don't think we have a lot of scented things in the house. It's rather dusty though but we should be moving soon! My stomach issues also tend to cause dehydration I can't get a grasp on though I try. Lack of sleep. Stress with life and being in constant pain from medical issues. So many potential reason for the headaches.

I have had a bad one all year so far and it's still here. I'm hoping moving will help. This house is bad for dust and maybe when we move we can keep up with it more, dusting that is. Plus moving is stressful and makes the days seem so long, waiting for things. Will be first time home owners. If moving doesn't help will have to try other things. Not moving because of the headache obviously, have to move. (hide spoiler)]

I have just finished Book 3 chapter 1. At 72%. This is interesting, lol.

I have aphantasia as well! I think that's why reading horror doesn't bother me either. I never understood why people would say a book was scary before knowing about aphantasia lol. When I learned about aphantasia it took me awhile to truly believe people were being literal about visualizing lol. I used to think it was all just metaphors, and brushed off what I couldn't explain with metaphors.

I'm in book 2, chapter 10 (I think). 63%. King has no shortage of words. I am definitely intrigued to see what will happen. I have no idea.

I'm now at 54%. In Book 2 Chapter 9. I've been working on keeping up a 9% a day pace, which with a killer headache all year isn't easy. But if I can read through it I will. Mostly because it gives me something to do. And I am liking it still.

Lol! Yes i've added some of the books he talked about to my want to read list.

(view spoiler)[ Stomach issues are awful. I can't eat so many things. Popcorn, most vegetables, pepper. I don't always know why my body says "No" to something. Such a strict routine of how much/when I can eat that i've had to figure out with trial and error. I can't not eat obviously but my stomach refuses to work (at all - severe constipation issues) without being forced, so I have to get my stomach working when I wake up before I can eat anything, or i'll be in severe pain. Throwing up also happens. I used to force it with the malone procedure growing up but then I got a colostomy and now it's prune juice and laxatives. It's not a subject most want to talk about but growing up with all my issues I just don't have a filter about any of it. It is what it is and I do the best I can. It also helps i've found FB groups with people who also have the same issues and I don't think any of us have a filter lol. Just a part of growing up with said problems.

I've also been wondering for a couple years now if I have autism but with my physical issues I haven't bothered to try and get diagnosed. Getting out of the house with my bathroom issues is so difficult and filled with anxiety. I didn't know autism and gut issues could be linked either.

Temperature wise i'm just on the cold side. Around 97 normally. If I reach 98.6 I feel like crap, like a low grade fever but Dr's refuse to believe that's a fever for me. I've recently learned though that humans in general, our temperature on average is getting lower. Not to mention average temp will still differ from person to person. 98.6 for me IS a fever, a low one but still.

I haven't read it before or seen the movie so i'm reading it with no idea at all, but i'm enjoying the ride so far and wondering what's going to happen.

I'm still in book 2, chapter 6. Going steady :)

I grew up doing a malone everyday and now have a colostomy and need to take a lot of daily medicine and have a strict routine of when and how much I can eat to keep my stomach working at all. There are a lot of things I can't eat at all. My stomach issues are the main reason i'm home bound. I'm sorry you have so many issues and pain as well. Many Dr's don't listen at all.
