Lisa - that's one of the cutest ones yet!

Welcome Diane and Sue! Love both of your avatars!

Oh I would totally fantasize that! And I'll take it a step further...you get to meet sk and we can schedule a bee retreat and he can talk to all of us!!!!

LOL - I soooo understand Kirsten. Go find some brain candy!

I read it last year after Elizabeth started raving. It was really good - one of those I'm excited to hand my kids in a few years.

I loved
Jane Eyre - I should give this one a try too...
@Garlan - I can't like Jane Austen. I've tried.

I started this last night and am about 100 pages in. I am really enjoying it so far!

Hair is never a reliable indicator when it comes to women. :)

This was OK for me. Is it bad I didn't really notice the violence? I guess it felt so foreign to me that the violence didn't resonate. If I tally up the body count, it's excessive, but I honestly felt more sorrow at the animals who died in the story than any of the people. I gave this 3 stars, but it was more of a 2.5 for me.

Is it Amy on the far right?

Welcome Katie! Glad to have you here.

It was a good book. I'm lucky to have received it and trying to figure out who gets it next.

I posted about the never list in the non bee books. I can see the comparisons to Gillian Flynn and Jeffrey deavers, but her voice is different from theirs. The narrative is purely from the victim's standpoint, which makes for a new perspective. There isn't a lot of graphic violence in the book, but what's implied is mind bending. I gave it 4 stars. Character development and prose are areas that could have been stronger, but it was a really good book.

just finished The Never List, which I won on Amy's blog. it was a compulsive read, and I ended up giving it 4 stars. psychological thriller, and I didn't know what was going to happen from page to page. good first book for sure.

I was just looking for her books and it doesn't look like they are easy to come by. I will have to check the library, but Odin seems to be down.

It was a GREAT article - thanks for sharing!!!! I really need to pick up some of
Tabitha King - as well as Joe Hill and Owen King. May as well keep it in the family, right?

I really should have set up the dvr to record the series, but didn't think about it.

:) They are adorable. I'm sure your face hurts from grinning by now.

I had the worst time typing the title - my mind switches the letters, I keep thinking it says "Read Me"
