I finished this one a couple days ago - and it was easy, interesting and entirely forgettable. The engaging first half really morphed into formulaic chick lit by the end, IMO.
Non readers kill me. I have a co-worker who only reads bodice-rippers. I do not understand what the point is?!? It's not like the stories vary that much. Gag.

I have this one on my kindle - so it's what's next on my list! Excited to get to it.

I really liked this one and thought it was excellent. The Secret History was meh for me though. I just didn't find that one compelling.

It's humbling how much we miss it.

The previous provider sold their towers to AT&T. The change happened in the middle of the longest, most brutal winter ever and the new company couldn't get up the new infrastructure. Now that they are working on installs, the new companies are operating with a lot less strength and the signal is blocked at our house. Our neighbors have been getting installed one by one. Some are ok. Some are not getting it either. It's frustrating. But I am reading a lot. :)

Hello Bees! It's been 168 days without home wifi. I've begun regarding it as a famine. I really miss it.
My sister and her family moved in nearly a month ago. It's amazing. I'm watching my kiddos become closer to their cousin as we are sharing childcare this summer. I also get to see my nephew nearly every day. I LOVE IT!!!
I'm reading lots, posting in the hive and trying to keep up with you guys!

Oh, awesome!!!! I agree, I'd love to see more of those 3.

I finished yesterday. It started very strong and ended well, but I thought the 2nd half lost some of it's oomph. Still loved it, but it only got 4 stars from me.

I bought my copy today, so I'll have to see what I think. But wasn't the stand in present tense?

I loved this book. If I didn't already have it I'd buy it!!!

Why would we want a cure????

I've got to get it downloaded too...

I'm in the minority - this one was meh for me. I thought it started out well, but then got really predictable, and I found most of the characters to be so flat. Maybe that was the way Victoria could see them, but I didn't love this one. 3 stars.

I gave it to my mom. I know she'll enjoy it too.

I read this in a couple days. I had it figured out about 1/3 on bit I wanted to keep reading to make sure. I found it a quick, interesting read. Total lifetime drama. But it read like candy.

I still laugh every time I'm in goodwill or another used bookstore and see The Corrections on their shelves.

I'm being a brat. We are waiting our turn for the new ISP to hook us up. We are (sort of) joking that we are like famine victims. 5 months in...

I have to tell you that life in ND with no wireless is NOT amazing or fabulous Lisa. I'm sure that's totally different than an Alaskan cruise though. ;)

Cruise where Miss Amy???
