It was amazing. I cried - so amazed I got to be in the same room. He was exactly how he seems in his books...loved.

Good morning!!! In 12 hours we will be at the STEPHEN KING READING!!!!

Awesome!!!! I think I will have to buy - it's so nice to have e versions of my faves.

My tbr is over 400. I go thru it sometimes, but I don't often delete. I don't care if it's impossible to get thru. Goals should me lofty.

Awesome! Keeping me fingers crossed that we score some of the autographed copies of Revival on Friday!!!

Terrible flashbacks. That inner goddess needed to be punched! Or edited. Something!

Ha, ha!!!! Ok, that is totally stretching it with 50 Shades (my inner goddess smirks) but important vampire ass-kicking goes on between romps in the BDB!

I'm not a prude - but when I read 50 shades or the Black Dagger Brotherhood I know it's about sex with a plot...this took me by surprise.

I just finished
, which was OK, but I'm sort of traumatized by how much sex there was in a book by Judy Blume. I know it wasn't a YA book, but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT much a part of the story!

I finished
this week - latest installment in the Virgil Flowers series was fun and satisfying. I've heard rumors that Sandford is looking to retire, which is sad for me. His books never, ever fail to entertain me.
I also read
to fill a slot in our Hive challenge- and I was really surprised by how uplifting and inspiring the book was. I haven't seen the movie, and wouldn't have read the book based on the description - but am so glad I did.
I'm currently reading
- one of those modern classics I've just never picked up. So far it's quite good - the prose is engaging, but it took almost half the book for there to be much of a story. We'll see how the rest of it goes - hopefully there's a bit more plot to follow now. Never seen that movie either, but I checked out some info on it, and I had no clue Burt Reynolds was EVER ripped. Wow. Guess I should watch it. :P
I have a few other books I'm working on -
is one. I really am loving it - I originally checked it out for my nook, but it's turning out to be one of those books I really want to have a paper copy of, so I've slowed down on my electronic version so I can do paper. It requires close reading - and notes. Sometimes the geek overtakes me.

Congratulations!!! Furry kids are awesome. My furry kids are kitties, but I can't imagine our life without them anymore. :)

I typically will read at least 1/4 before I give it up - but sometimes earlier if the writing is terrible.

In the past few weeks I've finished
It and
The Tommyknockers in a pre-SK road trip reading binge. I started
The Dead Zone last night. I may re-read a few more...I'm trying to come up with a question good enough to pose to him.
I have to get back to my challenges too - it's been a while since I've worked on them!

Welcome Jenny! If you want, we have a Bees thread where you can tell us about yourself, share personal news, etc. we are excited to get to know you.

I agree - why do you have to choose carefully? Take a load and if you don't like, give back to your library or Goodwill!

800 miles one way...but still grinning!!!!
