Chapter 25-END
(view spoiler)
It was alright, but I could've lived just fine without reading it.

The Prologue confused the heck out of me because I was not expecting anything futuristic (according to the disclaimer ) so I'll figure that one out as I read more.

Omg, that scene in the coffee shop.. I'm just laughing how cringy it is. I don't know if not reading the book for one day has anything to do with it but I feel like they did not have that transition to have talks like this.. I'm just shocked, laughing and cringing.
Oh, he was making a point 😂 omg, just 😬
From the corner of my eye, I saw Aaron finishing up the rest of
his gin and tonic. Not that I blamed him. We were definitely in need of some liquid courage if we wanted to survive this.
Girl I don't think he's drinking because he has to survive Spain.. more like because he's stuck with you.
Oh, no.. Daniel was her professor? just noup.
I thought I'll be able to finish the book today, but I'm feeling a tad sleepy and I want to at least start Iron Widow today, so I'll leave these few chapters for tomorrow.
It got a little better since the beginning, but it's not a good book. I think I got used to everything so I'm eh, okay, about it now.

Good that Spain actually happens how things started (at 40% they still are in USA) I forgot there was a trip.

"All their lives, where Jehan went, Mari always followed."
To be honest, that bothered me for some reason.. Mari always was following her.. maybe it bothered her that she always had do go after her? *shrugs* I guess we'll find out sooner or later things about her.
Yeah, yeah.. I just see that I didn't fully write what I was thinking 😂 He saw the Cook's son and I was yes, finally some ghosts after a bunch of other things and after a few days of him being there. That was one of the bit disjointed things; ghosts in the beginning to make us intrigued, and then we move to other things putting them in the back seat, but it's good that he saw the boy because the author will use it.. and hopefully use it good.

I like that the chapters are short, that way it made me finish at least 10% of the book before going to sleep. So far it has that amateur-ish vibe, which I usually am not much of a fan, but I think Oseman could be an exception. Her amateurish way of writing is very realistic, so I'm gonna assume that I'll connect with something in the book. I also read Radio Silence, that was the only book of hers that I read besides Heartstoppers, and since it was a few years ago I don't really remember much, BUT I remember it also feeling very real.

I planned to only read the first day set of chapters but I got carried away so I'm finishing today's chapters too. It's really easy to read which I like, and I like the story and the setting, although I feel a little like it's disjointed.. nothing big or maybe even noticeable. Maybe I just need to know what is the BIG thing Cassia is going against because an assassin doesn't sound too big to me.
I like his relationship with his brother; the statue scene was great. I was just wondering about the ghost thing, like he saw one in the first chapter or whenever, before coming to his home and then nada which made me feel a bit meh. Seeing ghosts was making him more interesting to me, and not using that thing I felt like it was missing out on things.
Since we are sharing our suspects for the archer.. assuming Cas was right and it was a woman..and we don't really know what happened to Mari.. I'm going with her being the archer. And the reason I'm suspecting it may be just seeing something were there's nothing, but.. The archer was wearing something green, and in the tapestry Lena said Mari was the one in the green dress.

Hi. Yes, it needs to be nominated in the nomination thread, because that way it's easier for us to track things. You, or whoever wants a thread, writes there and tells me what book and with whom they are reading it, and if they have a schedule they post it or tell me over how many days they want to read the book and the number of chapters.
You don't have to post anything now, because I saw the msg with the schedule for Where the Crawdads Sing you are going to read with Robyn.. if that question was for that book 😅

The more the merrier 😄

Chapters 6-10
(view spoiler)
It became one of the page turner books for me, so I'm doing chapter 11 because I have 13 minutes before I have to go to bed 😅 It may take me more than 13 minutes but that's it.
