The Spanish Love Deception (May 2022) Buddy Read Discussion - Brianna & Amanda, Mina, Katie, Aliana

She's acting childish not wanting to acknowledge Aaron. Maybe he is an ass or whatever, but we haven't seen that so her reaction doesn't make her look good. Plus, why is he not only answering to be her date when she didn't ask him, but also he was "fine, I'll let you take me" like she was begging him.
The book is reminding me of The Hating Game, has anyone read it?
I also heard that it was bad for some people, but I liked it. I don't know if I would like it again if I read it, but I enjoyed it much more than this.
Finally got to the part where she finally freaking tells us why she dislikes Aaron... and ouch. I'm feeling bad, and I'm not even the person that it was said about. So, I understand why she's acting towards him like that.. although I don't understand much because it's like two years since it happened.. I probably would've gone in total serious business mode.
The deal is making the things more interesting.. I'm gonna continue and read a bit more because I don't know if I'll read it tomorrow, but I'm more invested in the story now.

I think I'll be okay reading Atlas Six as a BR.. but it's too early for me to plan it, so maybe next month or towards the end of May.

Don't worry girl, I gotcha 😂 I'm looking through teams because unread messages annoy me, but also to see if there's a thread that people want but still haven't told me about in the nomination thread. I'm going to write it down in my spreadsheet for June, and will use your schedule when the time comes, thanks for making it 😄

Also, when do you want to do the BRs we have? because I just saw the one you added in the sheet

yeah.. I heard that can be a problem with phone users, but since I 99% use my laptop I didn't have those problems 😅
@Jen Thanks :D I'm making another sheet for me, and anyone that wants to use it, to see when BRs start and end.. that way, hopefully, I won't get too overwhelmed with reading since I'm still feeling slumpy-ish.

I'm going to add a new sheet to our team spreadsheet for the books that we are planning to read, that are BRs because later on, when we post more messages and completion posts your posts will stay on the first page, and it gets a bit annoying when you have to switch pages (or maybe that's just me 😅) But later, after maybe 3-4 weeks we could make updates of books we need to finish a category.
