Oops. Ok, I just took the E in JEDI to read with the book, Eggshells, but it's ok by me to get a new task. JEDI is an easy task, but the others are a bit harder.
More animals again. I guess they didn't think there would be so many crazy readers flying through the tasks!I am reading my Group book, but I'll see if anything else can work for another animal too, if no one else claims it first. I know I don't have anything with the directions right now.
Go fast readers!
I think you'll love the book, or the listen. The post story is after the author died the elephants that he befriended traveled from far away to his gravesite. They really are amazing!
I finished my elephant book. If you love elephants then I highly recommend it. The Elephant Whisperer: My Life with the Herd in the African WildThey are such fabulous animals! My review if interested:

Actually that's my review for when I listened to it the first go around. I didn't write a review for this time of reading it, since A. I felt the same way about the written version and B. I didn't recall I listened to it until I saw my review! What a mess I am sometimes! I thought so much of it seemed familiar when reading it. I refuse to blame it on my memory. Let's just say instead it's because I read/listen to so many books, that even my former 30 year old being wouldn't have been able to recall. Yeah, let's just say that! :)))
Just read through all the comments.Suzanne, insomnia is rough, but it sounds like you were very productive at least. :)
Our update and reading how everyone is stepping up to get all the Wheel tasks done, makes the buttons on my shirt just about pop! You all are fabulous at taking on tasks and reading them so fast! Way to go!
We are soooo close to being #1! I know Ti will be working hard to maintain their small lead, but we are doing great and it's still so early in the month, so anything is possible. Go team!
Leslie Ann wrote: "Looked fir zebra…no luck"I've got zebra covered. I have a lazy day today, so will finish it by tonight.
Suzanne wrote: "(Note: my personal opinion is like "Under my skin" is the same feel as "in the land" and doesn't really imply a direction/movement. But it's confusing to me for sure!)"I agree, Suzanne
Kirsten wrote: "Nanci, Suzanne, Shannon, and MN Lisa, thank you SO MUCH for building such an amazing team. This has been an absolute joy, and of course it’s also because we have so many kind and generous people, b..."What a kind thing to say, Kirsten! I have played in many challenges before and had some great teams, but this one is really over the top. It would be great if we could all team up again for the next TT, if the mods would allow. 🤞🏼
Yes, right there on page 2!!! "...giraffe, zebra, wildebeast..." Thank you so much, Suzanne. I'm only on page 40, but I'll get going on it.

We'll be in Anchorage and Seward also. Longevity runs in your family! What a special trip that must have been with your grandmother!Dang! My book, The Elephant Whisperer: My Life with the Herd in the African Wild does not have the word search on google books. Is there another way I can search for "zebra" in it besides reading each page for it?
I missed checking in for a bit because today was our 44th anniversary and we were very busy. We started off by kayaking in our lake, then ran some errands together and worked on a few projects and lastly a tasty dinner out.You all have been trouncing the Wheel tasks!
I am reading an elephant book, so I'll check for zebra in a bit.
Jen, what was your favorite for Alaska? We go end of August. Our daughter and her husband and their baby are there now for a friend's wedding. It looks cold!
Kirsten wrote: "Thanks for the birthday wishes for Ivy. Mostly her plans are answering happy birthday texts on her phone and eating deliciously unhealthy food! I made her maple blondies in honor of her Canadian he..."Sounds like a typical 16 year old! I adore her name!

"I think either red or black. There's definitely a lot of red in it though"
Tin Eye says 45.2%. We use common sense over Tin Eye, but with it being so close, I think it's ok to claim it for red.
Happy Sweet 16 to your daughter, Kirsten! Also, gracias for reading for our princess and Rogue.Happy 4th of July to all our American teammates and Happy Day to all!
I am making my Wheel book, Intimacies, a priority and will finish it tonight after fireworks or at the latest tomorrow morning.
Would Fourth Wing work for any of the categories as MPG? With the new format, I can't tell what is MPG and what isn't. Is MPG on the page where the book is shown or is it still MPG when you click on "more" and "show all".
I am at 90%, so could finish it today for that if it will work.
Leslie Ann wrote: "56 minutes left.... thank goodness"Haha! You can do it, Leslie Ann!
I never listened to books until about 4 years ago. I am of a firm belief that some books are made to be read and others are made to be listened to and then there's a smaller portion that are great either way.
I finally finished my Ruth Ware book and I'm so excited to move on to my next read!
Leslie Ann, I read that book, so I know how you're feeling. I read it when I wasn't in a challenge, so no pressure, but I still found myself staring longingly at some other books. My review if you care to read it:

I just added a book I finished for my RL bookgroup to the RT. Trying to get those points!I am hoping to have my The Lying Game book finished tomorrow (at 62%) for one of my Wheel books. I thought I'd get it done faster, but unlike other Ruth Ware books that I have zipped through, this one is slower and I'm not enjoying it as much. It's one of those that I think, "How can there possibly still be so much left before the end?" It seems like it could be told in no more 30 pages.
