Elinor, can you please give me the link for Big Book? I'd love to check it out!

Elinor - I love Orphan X and am anxiously waiting for the next one. And Nanci - I WISH The Elephant..."
You cracked me up with your comment about Zoo! Leslie, you and I enjoy a lot of the same books for sure. You will love A Long Walk for Water and I've got The Ferryman on my "next up" list, since you both liked it.
Thanks for your kind words, Suzanne! I'll never be a SS wizard, and I have so much respect for Lisa and Shannon on that account, but being referred to as "a ray of sunshine" is simply marvelous!

Elinor, I've read some of the same books you read and loved and I also loved them. Happy if this challenge boosted your spirits during some hard times in RL. You are so kind and warm and I've enjoyed getting to know you. I know you're the kind of person I'd love to have as a friend in RL. You love walking and reading...two things I love also!
I had lots of good reads during this challenge and only a few stinky ones. My 4 star and up books were:
A Long Way Gone: Memoirs Of A Boy Soldier
I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and was Shot by the Taliban
Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst
Dog
The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post
The German Wife
Project Hail Mary
The Saints of Swallow Hill
Seven Little Australians
The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir
The Elephant Whisperer
Breath, Eyes, Memory
How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water: A Novel

Fingers crossed that we pulled out the win, but either way this is the best team and I had the best time with all of you!
Thank you so much, Suzanne, for all your hours of work and leading the team so kindly and well. I would love to co-captain with you again, anytime! I'll check back tomorrow to make sure everything is all set.

I will read

I just got home from taking our daughter and her husband and 5 month old baby to the airport, so it will be good to keep my mind occupied. Always a bit sad when they leave and reading is a good antidote for that.

Driving 4 hours home from the beach today, so hoping to get my current book finished. Maybe I can squeeze in one more!

ETA: I see the N's are covered already. Yay, team! I took the letter F instead for my book. Hopefully we can get Balefire Dragon Tower completed also!

Suzanne, do you think we should shift the letters in TT "Balefire Dragon" to help finish "Lightening Hounds"? My book can be used for E, C, or L. I can find an ebook and read for any letter that is needed.

I'm not sure if you requested a spin for our newly completed Wheel "Monsters" where I just finished my book. I don't want to error and request it twice and it looks like you're around, so I'll leave it up to you or else just let me know if you need me to request. I'll be here for another 5 minutes.
Also, we're up early most mornings as we've got 7 grandkids including a 5 month old, so someone is always up by 5 or 6am. Loving every minute though!
Your trip sounds so fun!

I took the Wheel task for surprise ending. I am sure I can find something since it's my interpretation. Reading it today on the beach and will post tonight or tomorrow morning.
