I've been doing some updating on the spreadsheet today, so hopefully you won't have much to do when you get back home, Suzanne. It is so fun to fill in all the blank letters and see our progress!
Janeylou, could you please add your book, "Aiden and Ethan" and "Safe Heart" to your shelf when you get a minute? TIA
ETA: also "Strange Chemistry"
You are flying through the books, girl!

It's been a while since I've checked in and my reading has been taking second place while we've been at our daughter's house watching their children while she and her husband are away. They return on Sunday, but hopefully I can get some reading done tomorrow and/or Saturday. Sorry that I haven't had time to help with the SS, Suzanne. You've been doing a lot of work this round!

We're watching 3 of our grands for the next 8 days, but hopefully I'll still be able to get in some decent reading time.
Excited for Round 3 and to see how we finished for Round 2.

Sounds like we're already getting some books with instruments on cover.
I'll still read Yes Please for the Y for round 2 since it looks like it will still be needed, but the author's last name, Poehler, would work for next round. I have been listening to The Library of Lost and Found and the author's first and last names start with P, so at least that's one P covered.

I'm picking up my one book left on the list from the library today and will have it read by deadline too. It will work for a Y.

I've got one Y coming in to my library. Y's are much easier to find!

Beautiful day here in Virginia! Hope your weather is good too.
If anyone is looking for a book, one with X or Y for the spellout would be helpful. TIA!

Team, we already have 7 spellouts of XYLOPHONE completed and are well on our way for finishing our 8th word. I am amazed by your reading!

Cordelia no worries. you should read what/ when makes you happy! otherwise challenges are unsustainable. I hope you have a wonderf..."
Yes, I couldn't resist! I've been updating the SS and we're doing great! Keep up the reading team!

Could you please add your book, Suck & Lick to your shelf? Sorry, it was hard to type that title with a straight face, but I'm sure it's a book about lollipops!

ETA: The book is a memoir and was an Oprah pick. Here's a little about the author in case it interests anyone.
"An activist and “patron saint of female empowerment” (People), Glennon is the founder and president of Together Rising, an all-women-led nonprofit organization that has revolutionized grassroots philanthropy – raising over $35 million for women, families, and children in crisis. She lives in California with her wife and three children."

Yes. You need to choose 3 of the days of questions from the BOM site (the link is on page 1 of our team thread)and answer them. Then put the link for whichever days you chose on the tab on the SS for BOM.
If you haven’t done this before it can be a little tricky, so just ask if you don’t understand.

You probably just finished Synnr's Kiss, but when you get a minute, don't forget to add it to your shelf. You have a few others from that series, but I don't see that one on your shelf yet.
Thanks!

What did you think of How to Sell a Haunted House, Nanci?
I'm thinking I will get a lot of reading ..."
Surprisingly I actually liked the book. I gave it 3.5 stars, but if I liked the genre it would have been 4 stars. It was all so not me with the crazy puppets, but I just tried to look at it as silly and good fun, except during the more gory horrific times.
At the halfway point I could not figure out how it was going to end and everything seemed so over the top. I was impressed and actually liked the way the author wrote the ending. I don't want to give anything away, but when I first read about the one brother it did cause me to pause, but then it still surprised me at the end.
How about you?

Annalisa, we can always use those X's, so that would be great!
