@Paula - I love KM Shea's books but I could not get past book 1 in the King Arthur series, her fairy tale retellings are exceptional and her
The Snow Queen: The Complete Saga: Books 1-3: Heart of Ice, Sacrifice, Snowflakes is one I bought to keep permanently even though they are free on KU

Anyone looking to get some reviews this is how ya do it, these books are free and you can get some NetGalley respect (keep your profile updated)

Bought this today, sounded good and I had some credits to use and it is on sale for 99 cents, if I really love it the sequel (his brothers story) releases tomorrow :)
The Dragon of New Orleans

in case I am not the only Vampire For Hire addict here, there is a new book out in the series
Dead Moon which reading the synopsis sounds like a vampire vs zombie story but with zombies that are not shambling creatures but fairly normal seeming.

Finished
Angel's Assassin and it was one of those books where the story and characters were so interesting that I overlooked a bit of padded writing. If you have a spot in your KU you might want to grab this one, in spite of a few flaws I grabbed the followup novella
Cherished Protector of Her Heart (the epilogue in book 1 is several years later, this novella fills in that gap a bit) and will probably get the last book of this series (it is about the hero's brother)
Beloved in His Eyes if they are like the first book they are wildly interesting characters, good story and possibly a bit verbose at times (I scanned significant portions of the last 50% of book 1 without losing the storyline at all, still loved it)
Hmmm, I may just copy and paste this as my review :)

Well I guess I won't be buying or reading the next 2 books in the series since they both had this banner on them "You purchased this item on June 11, 2018" and I hate it when I read books out of order, now I got to find another series (and also get some of my TBR read. They WERE good though since I remember the plot of both of them so well I did not need to reread them

Well I have been bust this week with RL things but finished
A Lady by Midnight and once again a great story and original, too many historical romance novels seem like they all used the same outline but the ones in this series seem to be much more original and surprising plot twists, guess I will have to buy the next one.

One of my favorite books ever is
The Hunter and this story sounded like it had a similar plot and people seem to love it, I am thinking I need to add it to my TBR but my KU queue is full and I want all of them!! Anyone read this and can tell me it was horrible and not waste my time so I will quit stressing LOL

Douglas, lol - spoilers will be *everywhere*. You'll have to avoid friends, the internet and all social media."Sadly you are speaking truth LOL
Carol wrote: "Game of Thrones Season 8 tomorrow!! Is anyone as excited about this as me? Dany, Tyrion & Jon better survive!"I am going to wait until they are all released then sign back up for HBO for 30 days so I can watch them all. Any spoilers posted will result in me hiring a voodoo priestess to curse you. :)

I am reading
Scattered, Smothered and Chunked - by John G. Hartness and it is a collection of stories on a timeline so it is sort of a novel in small pieces and I am trying to NOT like it and move to another book but it seems to have a train-wreck appeal and I can't let it go LOL

HappyBookWorm2020 wrote: "I thought the beginning of that book was absolutely unique - her sneaking out of the house to preserve her engagement. ..."I loved it, the only problem as I saw it was that anyone reading this book without reading book 1 would miss out on a LOT of needed background and story to keep this from looking a lot more lurid and titillating than the reality of a woman trying desperately to preserve her engagement

I finished
Marrying Winterborne and it was excellent, humor, drama, you name it and a bit of it is there. Now I got to get back to some paranormal for a bit before I have to read/review
No Other Duke But You before the end of the month

@Vanessa - beware, about 150 pages from the end the story picks up and the stress does not give you a place to stop LOL
HappyBookWorm2020 wrote: "My favorite of Kleypas' newest series is Marrying Winterborne. He reminds me a bit of Kev Merripen from the Hathaways, one of my favorite romance book heroes."If I can fit it into my reading schedule
Marrying Winterborne is going to be next
Holy Sister the last book of the trilogy releases tomorrow and if you have not read this exceptional trilogy I suggest you put your pennies together and get them all and then take off work and read all 3 :)

Well I have started
Cold-Hearted Rake and can see why some people took a dislike to it, the hero is pretty despicable but I assume the heroine will have him shaped up by the end of the book LOL

re: Alex Craft - I am so far behind I would need to start the series all over again I think.

What is the difference between an "Audible Audiobook" and an "Audible Original" ?? I got an offer that give me 3 free months and 1 of the former and 2 of the latter each month??
