The Governess Game is just plain old fun and entertaining IMHO :) Loved it

In other news the cover I ordered for about half price off of Amazon price arrived and it was for my version, works perfectly and appears to be pretty well built but does not have the little add-ons like the way to prop the book up like my nice expensive ones from Amazon do :) Anotehr note is that I really was kinda disappointed when my Paperwhite arrived since it was a bit smaller than anything else I use for reading but I adjusted pretty fast but the things seems to cut off fast if you lay it down for a minute, guess that is part of how it saves its battery for so long. I must say it seems to be a bit easier on the eyes

Well let me see if I can describe my mess of a day reading:
I wanted to add
Broken Ice to my KU but it said I had 10 books already.
Solution: Read one of the books and then add Broken Ice so I grabbed
My Best Friend, the Billionaire which worked out good since the book kinda sucked and was a DNF about 40% into it so went to erase it from my KU and ......... I had bought it for 99 cents to make room for another book (DAMN) so then I had to look through my KU list closely this time and ended up buying
The Hellion for $1.99 so I could make room FINALLY for
Broken Ice (don't judge me!)
In the middle of this chaos I did stumble up on a book I preordered by Tessa Dare that sounds like it will be a ton of fun in Aug when it releases :)

Lucky you! I tried for an ARC on NetGalley and I ..."Finishing up the last few pages, it is slow going in parts since at the very heart of this book it is like a police procedural trying to fit all the parts together and getting pieces of it as you go along, looks like it is going to be a BIG finish LOL Nell is such a multi-faceted character it just makes it hard to compare it to anything else.

My KU just does have enough slots to hold all my shiny new books I am finding :( This one caught my eye and I have liked most things by both of these authors so I wanted it (along with the other 10 books in my KU queue) !
Broken Ice

Well this is what I bought, Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 10th Generation 2018 Folio Case Cover Shockproof looks good and feedback was good, we shall see but it is a great price

@Melindeeloo -
Midnight Valentine looked good so it got my last slot in my KindleUnlimited
@LAB - I grabbed a Fintie off of eBay for less than $10 and it looked just like the one on Amazon for about $20, we shall see when they both arrive :)

Thanks for the reminder BTW

I knew I would forget to keep this up to date LOL, now I got to catch up

Well I finally broke down and traded in 2 of my old Kindles which got me $20 off plus 25% off a new paperwhite so it was $99 plus tax when the deed was done, probably get the leather cover later but $40 for a cover seemed a bit much

You can skip the first 3 and lose pretty much nothing and read these 3 (books 4-5-6) they were solid 4 Star for me

UPDATE: Just saw where you already read it (and did not like it as much as me LOL)

I did love it
The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl

@Monadh - their customer service for reviewers is pretty close to non-existent, trying to get an idea what they want in a review is another useless quest. I seem to have benefited but have no idea how or why other than just sheer quantity??? I have had some popular reviews on things that are not literary related, have no idea if the diversity helps or not. I wrote a review on furnace filters that garnered over 150 "helpful" votes in less than 2 months but probably

For those of us who were not 100% sure what comes next after
Summoned to Thirteenth Grave this is a bit of a hint she just posted a few hours ago.
https://www.facebook.com/darynda.jone...

There were a series of novellas that preceded the "Throne of Glass" and I loved them, they were assembled into 1 book later
The Assassin's Blade , I managed to get through the first 2 "Throne of Glass" novels before the love triangle just bored/irritated me too much and I never went back.

Since Jan 15th I have posted 15 reviews, these 15 reviews have generated exactly 6 "helpful" votes. Somehow in the world of Amazon math, I went from Top Reviewer #212 to #199 (highest I have ever been) but while I do like that I can't feel as much pride as I might since I can't come up with ANY type of math that gives those kinds of results?????? I really start to wonder if there is a random number generator involved :)
