222868 Am I delusional? I thought I saw someplace that if you had bought the DTB version of a book in the past you could get the Kindle version cheap or free now?? I was wanting to get Grave Witch which I bought in paperback in 2010 in a Kindle version

222868 Anyone read the Shadowspell Academy series? It looks good and the reviews are awesome but I don't really want to read a Harry Potter clone and this kinda has that vibe but a bit more dangerous

Shadowspell Academy

222868 Usually after reading one of Ilona Andrews books nothing sounds good or if I start one I lose interest fast but I did find one that really is keeping me engaged by Kari Arthur Burn is really good and for those who don't know this is a series but none of the books connect to any of the others so they are all stand alone (and all very good)

222868 @Waverly - I am also a Michael Anderle universe addict, half of my KU is filled with books he has written or co-written or just part of his universe but nothing still compares to the original series that is still moving along but more like a book a year now but if anyone has not read Death Becomes Her and the following novels it is the most unique series I think I ever read since it starts out as what appears to be a paranormal urban adventure and slowly transforms into a Space Opera :)

222868 Well damn, I want to start Sweep of the Blade immediately but I am reading a contemporary romance that is surprisingly entertaining and I would keep thinking about it so I am trying to read through A Highlander Walks into a Bar as fast as I can but still not scanning anything because it really is good !

222868 The only KU discounts I am aware of are at this page, $40 off a year membership is the one I use, you have to "gift" it to yourself :)

222868 While I have not had the time to read more than maybe 10 Nora Roberts books, I can say that none of them were boring and I still count the The Circle trilogy and the Sign of Seven trilogy as 2 of the most entertaining trilogies I ever read. I should note that The Witness was exceptional and you could tell she was putting extra effort into this 200th book

222868 Well it was not really bad but little political BS and a bit boring made me just DNF The Billionaire King’s Heir , I got books i KNOW I want to read :) Like this one Carl Perkins' Cadillac: A Quincy Harker, Demon Hunter Urban Fantasy

222868 I have had several real life problems pop up over the last few days so my reading time was limited but I did finally finish The Trouble with His Lordship's Trousers and I have to say that the first 75% of the book was entertaining but not exceptional but the last 25% pretty much made up for it and was an exceptional ending but I have to say without spoilers that the scene in the summerhouse on the island seemed REALLY familiar to me in some other book I have read recently. I don't remember enough to call it plagiarism (since I don't know which came first) but it was really familiar and it might have just been my less than stellar memory :)

222868 The Trouble with His Lordship's Trousers got off to a bit of a slow start but it has really gotten the wind behind it now LOL I was afraid I was not going to figure out why anyone thought this was so good, I think I am beginning to see :) I can see all kinds of calamities on the horizon LOL

222868 @HBW - I use it to backup my Quicken files which has much of my financial info but they are lightly encrypted and even if they got them without the password you cannot not open them to get any real info and the acct numbers are not stored in the files.
