This came out a couple of days ago and judging by the other 2 it will be great but it was like $7, lucky I had some "No Rush" shipping credits so I bought it for free.
The Wallflower Wager

@Shannon - Hailey Edwards has done that to me a few times where she took a character I really did not like and over the course of a book or 2 made me like them :)

Nalani Singh recommended this one and it looks good, when you have a TBR the size of a mountain, there is always room for 1 more LOL

Myself and plenty of others feel the same way HBW

This is the new Anne Bishop novel which sadly (for me) is NOT an "Others" novel but a Black Jewels book

@Paula - As I recall the first book was slow and I had a hard time but the next 2 she hit out of the park IMHO

@Melindeeloo - re:
Deadly Curiosities it is one of those series that each book gets better than the last, the next 2 I actually gave 5 Stars to:
VendettaTangled WebThe ones I bought are short story collections based on the series which generally can't hold my interest for a whole book of them but is great for something to read quick at the doctor or vet :)
Trifles and FollyTrifles and Folly 2

Well I took some "time off" to reread
The Guns of the South which I read many years ago in paperback and the reread was great, the story was captivating between the actual history and the alternative history along with some drama at the soldier level I found it addicting and horrifying at the same time. To kind of balance that out I grabbed
The Bluestocking which is already starting out good but this is book 4 and without the previous 3 you would not enjoy it as much I fear, lot of history in this series to be remembered.

And since obviously if you are a book addict there is no such thing as "enough books" since I have no idea what that could possibly mean I bought 2 more today

@LAB - you are really getting behind here LOL... get busy, you are missing some great books :)

I am a big fan of Hailey Edwards and her books but her new series sadly sounds very UNoriginal if you care to read the synopsis let me know if it sounds kinda familiar to you please :) Chances are it will be good enough I will read it but it is going to be hard not to draw comparisons to another series LOL (yes this is a challenge to see if it is just me but I am pretty sure most of you can see this one a mile away)

LOL, no problem

Kristi - If you have not read Kristen Callihan's VIP series the first 2 books are true 5 Star reading IMHO, sadly the 3rd one was not bad but largely forgettable but I can still remember large swaths of the first 2 and the airplane ride that starts book 2 needs to be given an award for entertainment (so good that most of the rest of the book kind of paled in comparison)

I have the first 2 in the "Wicked Wallflowers" series and enjoyed both stories BUT I HATE the way she ends her books. I am one of those people who WANT a good epilogue and hers always pretty much ends with a proposal or profession of love and next page is THE END. I must admit that it did NOT stop me from getting book 3 LOL . The fact that they are all FREE on KU does not hurt either :) I should mention that while they can be read stand alone I would strongly recommend reading them in order since they do play on past events.
The HellionThe VixenThe GovernessThe BluestockingThe Spitfire Release Date In Mid Sept

Reading the first of a trilogy by Mark Lawrence who works I have loved but this one is in that area of "I think I want to read something else but I can't let this go". I think part of the problem is that it takes place in England in around the 1980s (so far, I think that is not permanent) and there is no clue yet what the ultimate goal is, there are small plots along the way and inserted into this real world story is a imaginary story where all the characters are playing D & D which I have to admit is a new thing and it does flow along much better than you would think. Guess I will keep at it since it is FREE on KU as the other 2 books are/will be
One Word Kill

WOW, that sounds like she needs some serious mental health assistance
Paula wrote: "I just got notified that Jana DeLeon has a new Fortune book out.
Cajun Fried Felony. Yipee"I really need to get back to that series, I read the first 4-5 and then got busy and have not returned to it yet :)

I am in some kind of book hangover, started 3 books tonight and the last one seems to have been able to keep my attention for a few chapters, maybe tomorrow will be better, this seems pretty good so far.
The Hellion

Thanks Melindeeloo , at least I know I was not crazy but obviously it is severely limited since I bought hundreds of books and there was about 100 listed and other than the Argeneau Vampire books (most of which I already bought in Kindle format) there was not much I cared to re-buy sadly :( Guess I will just buy
Grave Witch at the regular price :) Not sure why I have all the others in digital format but not that one ???
