If you have not read
The Unhoneymooners you really need to grab a copy and save it for a day when you need a lift :) Loved it

Some free books for reviews if you are interested

re: Kelley Armstrong novels price - I wrote Ms Armstrong about the price disparity between the UK and the USA and this was the reply so I will make a reminder to check prices on Wednesday, below is what I got as a reply:
"Hi Douglas,
The difference in price is because they’re different publishers. The US one often goes on sale. You might want to check it out this Wednesday, several of the books will be discounted in the US :)
Sincerely,
Alison (Kelley’s assistant)"

To Whoever Recommended
The Unhoneymooners only in chapter 2 and already loving it, I needed some good humor and dry sarcastic is the best LOL

Well I finished
The Trouble With Vampires and actually enjoyed it a lot more than some of the more recent ones, the story was great but there were a lot of wasted pages I scanned through but no real TSTL but I still long for those early novels that I laughed and enjoyed, seems she has lost that skill :(

Anyone heard anything about Maya Banks? I am a fan of her KGI series even though the last 2-3 have been kind of lame but this one (book 12)
Wherever You Are had already been moved back a few months and now it has been moved all the way back to next year, I originally pre-ordered it in Sept of 2017 and it was already pushed back to Sept of this year and now it is end of Jan 2020

Finished
Storm Cursed and it was wonderful, glad to see that Patricia Briggs has been able to craft an exceptional story in spite of her own tragedy. If there is any negative about this book it would have to be the fact that it is NOT really a stand alone, you have to have read most if not all of the previous books to really be able to love this story and keep up with all the characters, who they are and what they can do.

Vampires Like It Hot :(
"In the end I have to say I think it was my love of what this series used to be more than my actual enjoyment of this story so lets call it 3 stars (first 3 Star review in the 28 books I have read/reviewed) and wanting to make it 4 for old times sake but sadly any discerning reader is going to spot all the weakness in this story and hurt themselves with all the eye rolling."

@HBW - re: Lynsay Sands Vampire books - I loved about the first 7, they started to lose their appeal after that but I still read them, bought the last one and review backlog as kept me from reading it yet, the last 2 seem to be getting back to those first books. You really need to read them in order and
The Accidental Vampire was my favorite but
Love Bites runs a close second, I mean how can you not love a book that starts with the hero being dead in the morgue and enter our heroine .... the coroner LOL I would tell you a bit more but it is a spoiler
Frisco wrote: "I am currently re-reading the last 3 books in the series just to kill the time til next weeks release." H..."It will save you from the "who is that again, what did he do 3 book ago??" Everything from the troll on the bridge until now was kinda fuzzy and I think she was punishing anyone that had not read her other books LOL Still a story I am loving but I can already see pain ahead :(

I gotta tell ya that I did get an advance copy of
Storm Cursed and I am at the 36% mark and my head hurts trying to grasp all the things that are happening. Very busy plot
Melindeeloo wrote: "I just finished American Witch, i enjoyed it and look forward to more of the witches"She is getting good at writing books in a series without leaving you with a horrible cliffhanger, a great first book for a series.

Just FYI (and my opinion) if you like anything Nora Roberts has done and have not read
The Witness you have missed possibly the best thing she ever wrote. It was her 200th novel and she put some real effort into it.
She also wrote one of my all time favorite paranormal/fantasy romance adventure series The Circle Trilogy which sadly is still about $22 even in Kindle, the paperback is slightly cheaper.
The Circle trilogy (Circle trilogy #1-3)

@Kristi - I think I read the first 2-3 and enjoyed them but the size of the series was a bit overwhelming and it does build upon itself a bit
HappyBookWorm2020 wrote: "I've had this book hanging around on my Netgalley account for a long (not to be disclosed) time and last night I finally read the first couple of hundred pages, then started skipping. Anyway, I wro..."Uh, what book?

@HBW - I bought that "starter pack" I mean for 99 cents for four novels and three novellas it is almost impossible to lose anything but 99 cents and maybe some time :) I have not read any of her books but I have to think she wants readers to enjoy this batch and move on to her more recent (and more expensive) stuff since almost everything else she writes is either $5 or $6

I recommend these Timeless Fairy Tales highly since I started on it and marathon read them all over a week or more, loved the stories and they do have a bit of a thread of plot running through them all to be solved in the last book (10 books plus a short prequel I never read). High fantasy with a hea :)

The main story that will stick with you for years (or it did me) is the first 2 books)
