Damn, this is one of those nights when nothing sounds like a book I want to read :(

I have After Dark with the Duke on my schedule but since it will not be published until 30 Nov I have a few others to get done before than time :) I have enjoyed all of the Palace of Rogues series but none of her subsequent works seem to have the same high level that her Pennyroyal Green Series did IMHO

Reading The Wedding Wager by Eva Devon and really liking it, a bit of a unique plot and a couple of well worn parts but still really good so far but I did not realize until I did a search to get the above link, "The Wedding Wager" is a REALLY popular title, there were pages of them

Shockingly A Breath of Sunlight is turning out to be an exceptional book so far at about the 30% mark but I hope this is a stand alone and not a cliff hanger ending for a series starter

I finished A Reckless Match and really liked it, solid 4 Star with very little "filler" and it is book 1 of a new series . I am starting A Breath of Sunlight which I had promised to do over a month ago, I hope it will be a surprise 4-5 star :)

Kid was being raised by her sister and the gang that killed her parents are the culprits

Well finally finished Mile High with a Vampire and comparing it the last 3-4 books it was better and somewhat memorable but I did scan some pages and thought the ending left a few details out I was curious about so it crawled across the 4 star line for me. The sad part is that there is no comparing them to the first 8-9 books that were so good, book 2 is still my fav

Well a new low in reading late at night, I was looking for a book mark to stick in my Kindle ... BTW Mile High with a Vampire is getting a small bit boring, adventure is over and now we have new bad guys and a heroine who needs therapy and doesn't want a life mate. Not really a fan of such scenarios

One of my all time favorite historical romance novels :)

Reading Mile High with a Vampire and only about 20% in but it seems a bit better than some of the last ones, more of an adventure so far than romance but life and death situations seem to be a start to a lot of good romance stories :) It is NOT what I expected with the title and the "Mile High Club" is not even close to what happens

LOL, I just noticed that Melindeeloo gave it 4 Stars so maybe I was just not in the mood. I did like the "soulmates" vibe but I was sick of Ed! :)

Well I finally had to DNF one I thought was going to be a lot better romance that it turned out. I can give you my whole review below :)

I was not a big fan of the subscription but I have to say when I took all of the benefits I get from it I found it cheaper than a lot of things I waste money on and I usually watch for sales on Amazon where you can get a "Amazon Exclusive" 15 month for the price of the normal 12 month (I do the same thing for my Norton subscription, I have not paid full price or only had a 12 month subscription in years). When either of them start to warn me about renewing I start checking Amazon :)

Just FYI "entering receipts and payments felt like another job" Quicken downloads all that now, all transactions, future bills you have programmed into your bank's Billpay and reoccurring bills. I doubt I have manually entered more than 4-5 manual transactions of any type each month. Each morning I just tell it to pull all transactions and it does

Well I finally finished True Dead and loved it for the most part but I almost gave it 5 Stars but lowered it to 4 only because the cast of characters is so large now I can hardly keep up and it seemed like she decided to make almost everybody weaker than they used to be and Beast is like a different person than the entity we have lived with for many years. Still loved it and it had a pretty good Godfather 1 ending :)
