Is the Deadman's cross separate from her hunters series? I had trouble keeping track of all the Salvatore and Jaden stuff in those. Is it someplace that a new reader could jump in? - though I don't know why I am tempted if kenyon is still torturing her heroes.

Good to know about Tempting as Sin, I need to move it up on the pile, do you read her NZ books too? I like the rugby guys:)

Also Tricks is fun, but Oracle's Moon is my favorite of the Elder Races series, I should do an Elder races reread too.

222868 HappyBookworm - that is exactly why I broke up with Feehan too, and also Kenyon -- the extreme abuse suffered by the leads was a turn off

Vanessa I did like Tiger's twist, it will be fun to see what happens

222868 This was a good Fantasy/steampunk/magic series The Clockwork Dagger - one of the shorts in the series was a Nebula nominee. I also like her alternate steampunk/magic san francisco series, at least from the first book Breath of Earth

222868 It was short, but I really enjoyed Tiger Striped Tiger Striped (Shifters Unbound #11.5) by Jennifer Ashley - the guy on the cover is all wrong though. I also liked Midnight Wolf, I liked the fox shifter a lot, the time frame of the story is short so it is abit of instaLove. I am dying for a Ben story, he is so sad under his good humor.

222868 I finished Spy Glass and am now completely finished up the whole poison study and spin offs. Most of the books were good - the third books in the 2nd and third trilogy I had some issues with. The final book especially had everyone getting captured, being imprisoned and escaping over and over again. That got tiring - and hard to beleive the bad guys didn't just kill them to avoid all the hassle.

222868 Well I finished the full Poison Study / Shadow study in audio - still making that romance package cost effective, only needed to use a credit for one of the six. The !ast book was interesting for the plots and schemes, but frustrating for the number of caputures, escapes/rescues and near death episodes.

Anyone have any new romance package finds or KU with audio?

Hang in there. This is always an insane time of year when the kids are K to 12 and to add on the additional layer of managing your child's diagnosis.... Hope things go well for you until you can get away and recharge in June.

In shadow study, it switches from just Yelana's POV and adds two others so maybe that was what didnt work for you. It's a different experience in audio - sometimes the reader's performance makes up for weaknesses in a story.

222868 I started listening to Shadow Study which is a continuation of the poison study series. But i felt i was missing something - references to previous events that weren't in the earlier books. So I put shadow study on hold and went and purchased the short story collection - which had a small missing piece, but not the big chunk I was expecting so I shrugged and resumed reading. Only to discover that the hole is due to a spin off - the Glass trilogy, which is fortunately also on the audible romance unlimited. Now I am debating whether to backtrack now or after I finish Shadow study.

222868 I liked Planet Dragos too, but I would still like to see more Stinkpot... Hopefully there will be more Liam. I also read The Reaper Rescues The Genie which was cute- I like Painter's stories better than the ones where other authors write in her world

222868 I just finished book three Fire Study in the Poison Study series - another audible romance package find, though the romance is in the background. I think the first 4 (5?) are included. I like the characters magic and fighting. I will continue on but will take a break for Planet Dragos:)

That one was good, I am liking the spinoff Blueblood Conspiracies and her new dragon series. Her books are light PNR but she is still an author I will auto buy.

222868 Kindling for a change (as opposed to listening since I wrapped up my Cainsville marathon an haven't found a new series to binge on yet)

I read the final book in McMaster's post appocalyptic series The Hero Within and thought it was pretty good (a bit more language then the others though). I also read The Iron Fin - i like this author her steampunk has excellent biomechanical elements - she is a scientist in real life - in adition to the romance.

222868 I am audio binging on Cainsville. Pretty good series even though one of the readers' voices is old ladyishly wrong and that there is a love triangle. I know already she is going to end up with the tortured guy, but I really like the nice guy she is with now... though both have issues.
