You probably already have your bird shifter book but
Immortal Warrior
Had an eagle shifter - it's historical pnr
The Wicked - is a novella and one or both leads are avian shifters
Red Fire - had an avian shifter lead
Swan and the Bear - haven't read this but this authors stories are normally smexy and humorous

I have a few of those on the TBR as well:). Do you subscribe to Tyler's newsletter? i was sad to see that there were a couple shorts for side characters that were only available in old newsletters - for Megan of the Beta Pack and Kelsey (one of the h's sisters) and Moe of the beta pack.

Everyone hit by the snow storms, hope you are all safe and warm.

Dragon Blood ... the last book and this new one are kind of a must to read together since the previous was a kind o..."
Frisco, I just finished Dragon Blood. Can you believe that this is book 14? And that she is finally pulling in Michael and Molly? I liked learning more Dragon secrets and more about Grandmother - still want to know more though about the dragon and the tiger.

Good to know, i was debating trying that, but I don't normally do much romance in audio since I find it weird to listen to the really smexy stuff - especially in the car - and its hard to skip in audio.

While I liked Star Wars, I was really disappointed in Thor: Ragnarok, it was terrible especially after how good the previo..."
I was disappointed in Thor too (view spoiler)
The previews for Infinity wars looks good though.

I read a jennifer crusie book last night to try to keep my mind occupied, i know some of you were fans. I liked a previous story by her - this one was okay Getting Rid Of Bradley. Its in a set so i will likely read another.

I agree. Though some authors can pull it off. More often though it's a decent set and wham, the conflict melts away or there's instalove and bam, it's over. It's kind of a Bummer when the set up is really good and you like the author and the story that could have been will never be told.

So looks like amazon took down this anthology. :(
I hope that means the book will be published separate..."
I saw you talking about McMaster's dragon story and discovered that she had another story - not connected- in this collection
Myths and Magic: An Epic Fantasy and Speculative Fiction Boxed Set. This story was also good but more fantasy. I do like her stories. This collection is free on KU. I haven't read any of the other stories yet.

It is unusual to get them so late, we normally get a bit of rain in November which would have helped. Everything is very dry due to years of drought and we've had intense winds which causes things to spread quickly especially at night and the areas have difficult terrain which makes it hard for the ground crews and leaves no places to really establish fire breaks. They are expecting it to be several weeks before the fire is contained.
I am fairly far from the closet edge of the fire at this point, but we are in the path of all the smoke, and the air quality is bad enough that they are distributing masks telling people to stay indoors and suggesting that people with health issues leave the area.

In my little bit of book time I am nibbling at my audio tbr pile Prophecy which was okay, steampunk and magic with a thin romance, and now Bite Me which is zombies and werewolves - promising so far. After i finish this i have Nell's book too. Glad that you all are liking it.

I agree, but it is getting harder to find good ones now days. It looks like we are all branching out. I'm doing more fantasy and sci fi.
I am not a super fan of historicals, but then that calls to mind regencies with the clothing descriptions, marriage marts...
I do like the steam punk twists to histories though they are like historical UF. I just read an inferesting one Breath of Earth set in San Fran at the time of the big quake it had magic and action and a touch of romance.

Finally reading Kresley Cole's "Wicked Abyss " and really enjoying!"
Thanks Carol (and vinity) I will continue on, i did like the characters - even the prickly Blackthorne:)
