222868 The extra settlement money was a nice surprise, I am sure that I can easily spend that (and more:)

I finished listening to Save a Truck, Ride a Redneck it wasn't as funny as i'd hoped -the h's family runs a funeral home so that added a sadder note to the whole thing and the novella length didn't do justice to the second chance romance. Weird thing is the cremains art you all were talking about was mentioned and I hadn't heard of it before.

222868 I just finished a book that I enjoyed Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1) by Laura Thalassa Rhapsodic -even though it wasn't fluffy read I've been asking for. I think I found it through someone's update feed and it was KU too.

I don't normally like flashbacks but the past and present threads flowed so well that it really worked well to build the romance to the steamy payoff and kept the air of mystery around the leading man.
There are some bad things that happen to the heroine but she finds her strength. The heroine is part siren and the leading man a wicked fae king.

Next I am going for the funny (hopefully.) Molly Harpers latest Save a Truck, Ride a Redneck (Southern Eclectic, #0.5) by Molly Harper Save a Truck, Ride a Redneck - think I need to get the audio - I like the reader Amanda Ronconi

222868 I've been looking for cute and funny too- any other suggestions are welcome. I just finished Rock Candy a short in Devon Monk's Ordinary series, it was a cute halloween story.

I also finally finished my audio of Archangel's Viper. I liked it alright, but it wasn't very romancy. I did like Holly and I liked Viper even though Singh turned him into someone different at the end.

On a side note, I happened upon my small keeper DTB pile and it had the first bunch ofvp Psy changling and Guild Hunters and you know I don't think I will ever reread them. I like Singh but don't love her anymore. Slave to sensation was one of the first PNR books that I got hooked on .

222868 I have to get cracking if I want to make my goodreads 2017 challenge - only 2.5 books a week for the rest of the year, but it might be a push since I ve been mostly just listening for the last couple weeks.

I am working on Archangel's Viper, not feeling the attraction between the pair so far, but not minding the snarky interactions. I think this is only my second time doing Singh in audio and i forgot how much more her love for adjectives stands out in this format.

I tried posting the link to here in the comments to one of her old book reviews on amazon. Don't know if she'll get an email fingers crossed...

Apparently there is announcement on the Kindle Help forum:

That is good news, too bad they didn't include that in the closing banner.

222868 I just finished reading How to Tame a Beast in Seven Days (The Embraced, #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks , it was cute and not as goofy as her vampire series. I got this on sale - think it still is - and clicked the next. Hey, sorcerer pirate leading man:) I do admit that I wasn't fond of the info dumpy prolog though.

I am still nibbling my way through Web of Lies (Elemental Assassin, #2) by Jennifer Estep in audio. I am still not sold on the series, even though I have more than half of the books from audible sales, but we will see.

222868 I am sad about the amazon forum, i haven't had a much to share lately, but it was a pleasant part of my day for years. I wonder if peri will make it over for her weekend reading threads...

I've been mostly lurking here, so I was surprised to see that I am a mod:) What are my duties?

222868 I am GR addict too, but I still love the RRP2R thread, even though I lurk more and post less now that there's less PNR to about - the people there
are all so great and with this there's just more of you all to love😊

222868 The only thing that is a little confusing is trying to remember which amazon names go with which goodreads ones.. Since everyone was more creative than me:)
